I guess you are never getting any video KENO machines, so I am quitting this site. Video poker alone gets boring after awhile. You said that you were getting KENO a year ago!
With so many nuances and strategies to contend with, VP can be a bear! Interesting why a site named VIDEOPOKER wouldn't have video KENO. Amazing

I can't see why Keno should be on a Video Poker site though I have no objections myself in seeing it here. But Keno just can't be construed as being a form of Video Poker...can it?

Mike, here in Calif. all the MG/MD machines also have 1 or 2 forms of Keno on them so subsequently, we VP players are S@#% out of luck because most or all the machines are occupied by VK players. Can it be compared to VP? Both are controlled by RNG but the similarities end there I'm pretty sure unless theres an actual strategy to playing VK. Isn't that like counting cards on a 6 deck shoe? You may get to where you think is positive numbers and it's time to shuffle! VK is no different than lounge keno is it? Your odds(or lack of) winning are the same whether controlled by a rotating drum or an RNG chip.

About the only thing a player can do with Keno is find the number of picks with the best payback. After that, as you said, it's up to the RNG.

From what I've read there is no lack of strategies and theorys for Keno. Some have to do which Quadrant you play based on, I forget.

There is an Indian Casino in northern Kansas that has a bank of 4 machines that have 9/7 DB on them but they also have nickel keno on them. You can never get a seat at one of those machines because of the keno players...$20 in and betting ONE NICKEL per spin! Someone said Keno was slow! That's an understatement!

Hahaha! what a coincidental kick in the pants! If and when I go to play VP, it's usally late night/ early AM so most or all the folks are cleared out. Then you only have to contend with hangers on and maintenance workers! Whether it's Ks. or Ca. we've got similar dillemas.

Yup, lot's of theories ... I think VP has some too.
Some of the theories about VP I've heard make you just shake your head. I suppose the same holds for Keno.
1) VP machine will always hit right after you lower your bet.
1a) A VP machine has hot streaks so bet low until you see one (which always requires lowering the bet at some point in the future).
2) A VP machine hits jackpots more often when not betting the maximum.
3) Never stay at a VP machine after a jackpot.
4) A VP machine is "due".
5) VP machines pay back worse when the casino is busy.
5a) VP machines pay back better when the casino is busy.
6) You can tell if a VP machine is hot in 4 hands.
etc., etc. etc.

Hey Shadow, Isn't that like holding a suited 10 kicker to an Ace for a 2 card royal? A lady friend of mine swore up and down she hit more RF's because she held the 10 kicker. Strictly superstition but I hit more RF's at night than day, maybe because 90% of my play is at night

You would expect to hit more royals holding AT suited than tossing the T and holding the bare ace; it is just that in doing so (when playing games without AT suited in the strategy table) you would be expecting to lose more money.
