I've heard different definitions of what 9.5 means. Some say it's halfway through the round, while others say it's
until the bell sounds.

9 full rounds plus 1 1/2 minutes into the 10th round equals 9 1/2 rounds. Ding ding.......

If that is the case, why couldn't you bet 9 1/4 rounds or 9 3/4 rounds?   I saw bets of 3 1/2, 5 1/2, up to 9 1/2.
Most people seem to think 9 1/2 simply means less than ten full rounds.

I imagine in Las Vegas a person could find someone to book those bets. Or even Butte Montana for that matter.
