Re: Slot machine advantage play
You have to be diligent when checking those Ultimate X video poker games. I routinely find 20+ plays on these games on a typical Saturday, with multiple "finds" on the same game, which have 9 different selections on the menu(there are 12 games at 25 cent denomination). There are 4 other Ultimate X games in the high-roller section which are 1.00 denom., but with only 3 games on the menu.
To be more discreet, use the buttons to scroll through the games when other customers are playing nearby....you'll look like less of a vulture and you won't have to answer as many questions about what you are doing.
Keep an eye out for a banking machine with a feature called "memory pay". The last 4 winning spins are stored in a list which is displayed on the game along with the cumulative total value of all the spins. When the bonus symbol lands on the 3rd reel, the game launches into a bonus round where 1 out of 5 values are randomly chosen, including the memory pay total. The other choices are something like 10, 15, 25, 40 credits.
I've found 2 plays in the past 2 weeks with the memory pay total over 1000 credits because someone had hit the 1000.00+ jackpot.
Take note of where on the list the big hit is, and then keep in mind that each winning spin nudges the winning spin storage list down one, which causes the memory pay total to change as one spin is added and another falls off.
Stop playing when the big hit falls off the board.
I actually got into the bonus round on one of those two plays, but the memory play total was not chosen.
My casual observations of the bonus rounds of these games has indicated to me that the memory pay total seems to be randomly chosen at least 20% of the time, which would be correct if it truly is random.
Also, the bonus symbol hits fairly frequently during normal play......maybe every 50 spins or so.
Also keep in mind that at the 1.00 denomination and at 3.00 per spin, the "plays" on these games can cost you 50.00 or so before either the big hit falls off the board, or if you're lucky, you hit it.

I totally understand the reasons people play and enjoy Ultimate X. I am still used to the touch screen to navigate the Game King (in this case, All Star Poker 2 machines).
I am not sure about the Memory Pay games, I cannot find any such video on youtube (I watch time to time of people's wins). The most similar game I've found that matches your description was Win It Again from WMS, one of them is the I Love Lucy game and there is another one on Jackpot Party casino social media game. Multiple wins will claim the previous winning amounts of the last 5 spins.
Totally understandable that you are forced to play more than what you want since these previous win amounts can be high.
I've seen Win It Again for just a few weeks at the local casino, but I've never seen it again. There must have been something on WMS side that was paying out greated than expected.

I was wondering if you play those Bally's QuickHit symbol games, where max betting and getting 5 to 9 of those symbols scattered gets you a progressive amount. Not sure how high each one needs to be to be considered advantage play. I see a bunch of these on the casino floor.
I'll pay attention to the Ultimate X pay table games. vpFREE does list full pay JoB, BDlx, and Bonus Poker for the $1 denomination. These days they replaced a good amount of all-star poker machines and introduced the quarter denomination.
I am sure not many can play $100 a round of $1 10 play Ultimate X. Usually I see people playing the short pay nickels from it.

I don't consider those Bally's quick hits, as advantage slots.....and I never play them. Since the progressives are not guaranteed to go off by a certain amount, then I can't bring myself to get involved.
However, if I ever saw an unusually high 5-symbol progressive amount, then I might consider taking a small shot at it......investing maybe $10.00.

Another game to look out for is called Rock around the Clock, the original. Play when the red shading is showing the time to be 15 minutes or less, before the hour. Each spin will light up(yellow color) one of 4 dashes on the clock hand....and when all 4 dashes are lit up, the hand moves 1 more minute closer to the hour.
The goal is to get the clock hand all the way to noontime to get into one of a few types of bonus rounds.
The player will often get a boost from an animated clock figure which randomly appears and nudges the clock hand part of the way or even all of the way to noontime. This random assist happens more often than not during the course of playing to reach the bonus round.
The bonuses typically range from $1.00 to about $30.00, with a legitimate shot at the $100.00+ 2nd-highest progressive pot.
Last October in Las Vegas I found at least a dozen of these games from Planet Hollywood through the Palazzo on the strip......and at about a half-dozen in the downtown casinos. The Primm Valley resort, Buffalo Bills, and Whiskey Pete's, all on I-15 on the California state line, had about 20 of these games between them.
Do not play the updated version with 3 clocks and about 10 dashes on the clock hands....unless one of the clocks is 2 minutes before the hour or less.
Good luck.
I know this is an old post, but since someone posted a new response to bring up the thread, I wanted to add to this. On this particular game, the better one is the "Classic Cars" version with the stacked cars that sometimes nudge down and NOT the 7's. This is the one with the "Super" bonus rounds and the multiplier at the top. You still play the same with minimum bets as usual. Payoffs on the Super Shakin' n Reelin' feature with good multipliers have been in the $300-$400 range. One of the tougher bonuses to get, but they pay the best.

Its hard to find any of these games. The quick hits and other video gaming machines are sweeping the casino floors. Anyone seen any of these games in Mississippi?

There are many of the newer slots that have advantage plays on them you just have to look at them to find the advantage.
Ocean magic is an advantage slot. So is Scarab.....New year Festival and Aladins Fortune 3D. There are many more in the casino.
A rather well known person called Mickey Crimm said he has found many advantage plays all across the USA. He did a cross country tour last year and found many plays.
You just have to do your own leg work
