DC area folks: Apply for MGM mastercard?

Post by Jojo2018 »

Hello all,
Wanted to post this question here since I do most of my playing at the MGM national harbor. Also, just getting back to "serious" VP playing after a 5-10 yr hiatus. I play at the .25 level. Here are the benefits I see:

-automatic upgrade to Pearl status. I am currently sapphire. 10% bonus playing slots at Saphire? Also, 10% bonus playing express comps.
-I think that Total rewards would "match" you at their saphire equivalent level. I do get to AC 2-3 times a year. Only total rewards casinos are in AC, right?
-free parking (but MGM national parking is free now). Also, don't get to Vegas much, where the free park is an attraction
-Thats it!

So mainly asking a DC area resident. I've been to the casino at arundel mills. Also, the horseshoe in Baltimore; a little further out. Matching opportunities? Been to that W. VA casino: Been a while, but there is a 2 lane road with no shoulder. Wow! Don't want to do that again.

Worth it?

They all Match MGM Rewards, most level for level.

As for National, they give you the least amount of comps/freevoffers compared to their Las Vegas or Atlantic City properties.

BTW, Atlantic City isn’t in Total Rewards. AC has Ocean, Hard Rock, and MGM’s Borgata. All three are a slice of Vegas on the Jersey Shore.

Are you referring to Caesars Total Rewards? If yes, they have 3 Casino/Resorts in AC. Unless I am missing something? FAA, care to chime in here?

Caesars/Eldorado has three properties that offer Total Rewards in AC: Caesars, Harrah's, Tropicana.

Resorts is not affiliated.
