Players Lounge

Post by JIMDUECE`SWILD »

Are there any players lounges in any of the casino in Las Vegas similar to what Atlantic City has? The Borgata has the Amphoria Lounge and CET has the Diamond Club.

Yes, there are Diamond Loungers in Vegas, and I imagine other casinos have similar.

Yes, but I've heard the CET diamond lounges in AC are much better. I've never been to any in either location though.

The Flamingo Diamond Lounge was pretty good when I was there this year. They had a small Buffet of hot food items for dinner and other cold items and desserts. It is free. There's about three times more food choices at the Atlantic City Bally's Diamond Lounge but is cost $10 reward credits for Diamond status. I have read that Flamingo is one of the better/best CET choices in Vegas.

Blah    The AC CET diamond lounges in my opinion are nothing special at all, and I can think of numerous Las vegas "regular buffet spreads" that in and of themselves were and are superior to the AC CET Diamond clubs....And of course, things like the Rio's famous and stellar Buffet, along with any and all buffets associated with current and former Steve Wynn-owned & inspired properties (like Bellagio, Mirage, the WYNN, and even the Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas) are in a class and level of quality by themselves! And Before anyone interjects that diamond clubs are "free", I will thwart that reasoning right now by simply saying the diamond clubs ARE NOT FREE....you will need to lose a significant sum just to achieve diamond level, and unless you plan on eating at the diamond clubs several times a week for most of the year, you will not recoup what you ultimately "blow" at CET casinos.

I know plenty of APs who would scoff at that.
Diamond in a Day can be a fantastic EV positive play.

This can probably beat Diamond in Day if you're in the top two tiers at other casinos across the country.

I hadn't played at Ak-Chin in years, til last month when they started sending me over $200 per week in Free Play. Up about $2500. Don't know how long their error will last but this latest perk now makes me Diamond for at least 6 months and $200 a week to boot.

It's been a while since i have been to a Diamond lounge in either AC or Las Vegas since i haven't played at a Caesars property in years. Years ago I found them to be ok, but nowhere near the quality of the Amphora Lounge at thge Borgata in AC. They just replaced our Borgata cards with new MLife cards and they gave me a gold, which appears to be equal to the Borgata Black label. The last 2 years I have been technically short of the1,000 comp dollars you need to earn to keep black status. Had about 950 each year, but they renewed me as black both times without even asking. Nice on their part.

Make sure to read the fine print on the offer and also click on your respective state to reveal what cards they are accepting for the offer.

I have had some years when I was close to the $1000 comp $$ requirement and they renewed my black card status.. If you're close to making it they will bump you up.I received my M-LIFE gold card Monday.  They Borgata website up and running now.
