I will be in Sacramento , CA in October and want to try some of the casinos in  the lake Tahoe area. Since all my comps are with Harrahs properties I`m interested in any info on Harrahs, Harveys or Bills casinos in Stateline NV. I`ve checked a few sources on line but don`t see any positive vp games listed for any of those sites. Appreciate any info anyone has on best games and where there at in the casino.

The VP is pretty tight at the Harrah's properties in Tahoe!  Made the drive down the hill to Reno and play at the Peppermill or Atlantis if you want to do any serious VP playing.

I agree with JD Atlantis or Mill for good videopoker machines and texas hold games in the poker rooms

Try the Carson Nugget in Carson City.  I bet 1/2 the casino is VP.  They work on local & repeat business, so have the best odds.

Also you might try the Carson Valley Inn. in minden, just over the hill from
Tahoe. smaller locals type but they have great payoffs. and Three Great
restrants. Very Friendly Folks. Nice Rooms. I Drive three hrs. about 6-8 times a year to stay there.

SlotWorld casino in Carson City has great paytables and all the types of poker you would need..a locals place so they have to keep the VP paytables competitive

ty for the input.
In the end it all came down to where I could get a free room.
I`ll be searching the floor at Harvey`s on 10/19 and 10/20 for the best pay tables. So if you see a grummpy old guy muttering to himself as he goes from machine to machine, have no fear , it`s just Bob.
If I`m smilin I`m winin!

I have been to Lakeside a few times. I have done well there but others have not. The view is fantastic.

Stay free at Harrah's at the lake and drive down to Reno to play.  The lake area is super expensive and ritzy and the casinos are beyond tight...Good luck...

There are some good pay tables at Club Cal Neva.  They have some $2 black jack tables and a nice sized poker room.  So if you are in the are looking for a good Reno Casino I recommend checking out Club Cal!!!
