I live in eastern Wisconsin and we have Turtle Lake Casino to go to. Not a good place at all to play. They took out all of the deuces wild machines a while back. See you in Vegas!!

We go to Galena Il couple times a month and when we do w go to Diamond Jos in Dubuque. They have gamemakers with pickum and a nice variety of games alot of game kings spinpoker a nice progressive bar area but poor pay tables for some of the games depends on the demonination you wish to play.. There is also the Dubuque Greyhound casino which is newer better ventilation and a nice mix of games..I get bored with the traditional JB DDB BP DW I like to find games the are alittle gimicky some can be real coin gooblers but they can be fun..I loved the old williams machines years ago with bonus flush and multipay poker for some reason they were pulled and we never found them again...Have fun

Ever since I started reading paytables I have not seen a decent one anywhere in wis minn or Iowa, kinda makes you wonder if these places can 't provide a decent paytable for video poker, there slots have to be even worse on payback percentage. Please prove me wrong and show me the way to a full pay jb... please help vegas is 8 months away.

Small world. I'm originally from a little town called Winslow, IL. Pop. 350. Close to Freeport, Rockford. , Monroe, WI. I used to go to "The Boat" in Dubuque. Actually used to live there. I also used to go down to Savannah.
Lived in Las Vegas, NV for 8 years. Absolutely NO COMPARISON is there?!?!?!

to all: I too am from here in southern wis--a very, very poor choice of casinos here except the Dubuque casinos which is 2 hours from me. At least their ran by the state and not the indians. You will find NO fp poker anywhere near here. I have been all over the midwest. The best there WAS in Turtle Lake wi, but, those machines are long gone and they were multi games and they were full pay--word of warning---stay AWAY from Ho-chunks quarters/dollars--i did know a security personel worker and their machines were set at a whopping--32%!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! Treasure Island in Red Wing though does have a great variety, yummy buffett, nice rooms--Ho-chunks buffett is yummy too--especially the steamed cod and BBQ ribs!

TI also has a game called Two Jacks Wild (aka One-eyed Jacks) in .25 and $. This is the only FP game in your vicinity. I'm going there in 1/2 hour.

I don't know about WI or IA but in MN the compact with the state limits the max payback on VP, I think it is 98 percent. Usually the "best" game in any MN casino is 9/6 DB, followed by 8/5 JB. I cannot recall seeing 7/5 BP, which would return very slightly more than 0.98, but I may be wrong there. Some properties (Mystic Lake for one) have made up for that with, say, 2.5 percent cash back though. And you are correct, the MN compact limits slots to an even lower payback.
