Has anyone seen this game before? Any idea about the pay schedule of the bonus?

This looks like a machine you'll find in a place where the video poker results are not random, such as in a New York racino. The result for the hand is pre-determined when you hit the play button, and the match card may be used to make sure you end up with whatever result was pre-determined, regardless of the cards you'd hold.

Hey Hop, this game is apparently an SG Gaming product and I haven't seen it so I can't help with its bonus schedule.

At first I thought it might be equivalent or similar to a game that is 7 years or so old that is available on this site: Triple Play with Match Card

And that one was certainly not a Class II machine and I wouldn't necessarily think the game you cited was Class II. Though, I do understand the previous poster's thoughts since if in the picture the player had tossed say an ace of diamonds preventing a predetermined royal, the amount that the "feature" would be required to make up would be the difference from the best possible draw by holding the jack (straight flush or quad jacks worth 250) and the royal that is shown as being worth 5000 coins.

However, the glass on your machine looks like the match card is a regular part of the game rather than a seldom appearing corrective mechanism.

If the game you are talking about is similar to the game on this site, optimal strategy is slightly different than the base game and gives you a slight incentive to make holds requiring you to draw more cards. This is because the deck from which the match card is dealt does not contain cards that you discarded. Fewer cards in the match card deck means a better chance that the match card will duplicate one of the cards in your final hand. For example on a hand like 98753 with 4 suits, tossing all 5 cards would give you an average multiplier that was about 4.6% greater than drawing to a 9875 inside straight on Triple Play with Match Card. Whether that is enough to depart from regular base game strategy will vary with game and pay schedule.

If you find out more info about this game like its required coin-in per hand and other info about its payouts, please share.

Definitely a "virtual pulltab" machine in either WA state or a NY state racino. Payback is probably closer to 92%.

It seems that the match card is only applied to the 5th card on the final hand according to the rules on the top panel, and for different winning hands, the bonus is a bit different.

And the match card is drawn on the draw, it doesn’t show up on the deal.

And the bonus feature seems to be free. No additional wager is required.

The guy in the video hit a full house and get paid 820 bonus credits in addition to 180 and ended with winning 1000 credits.

It looks like it could have been an interesting game with a concept that would differ slightly from base game strategy, but its paytable is around 99.5% withOUT the frequently occurring bonuses for match cards (> 10%?) that appear to increase with the status of the final hand. I found a couple references in other forums, one in New York (that Vman participated in back in 2014) and one in Washington.

So, it looks like the conclusions about it being Class II are right on the money.

Hop, It is good for the maker of the youtube that you posted that this was in fact a Class II machine as it was a bit disconcerting to watch how poor he was at selecting cards to hold!

It seems to be a pretty exciting game. But the result is actually predetermined?

I played it as a casino in WA. I thought it was a creative way to put together a class 2 game without the usual "genie" type of effect. But given it was class 2, I only played a few bucks on it just to see what it was like. There are no class 3 video poker machines in WA as far as I know. This was a small bank of machines in the deepest corner of the casino. There was really nothing there for a real vp player. Just a bunch of slots.

I think the holds don't matter at all. You simply earn a "match card" bonus that pays what the correct hold would have paid, or something similar in order to make the game comply with the class 2 status. Effectively the same thing as the genie feature on other games. This is my suspicion any way. I guess I could have tested the theory while I played for a few minutes. It's possible I did and have now forgotten.
