Holding just the Ace

I just read a book on vidoe poker by a well known author that says he knows his stuff. But I am confused by his direct contradiction to other books and experts.
He says when dealt Ace 4 7 9 J unsuited (or any hand with an ace and one or two face cards unsiuted) to hold the lone ace in all video poker games even though the EV may say not to. His reason is that the machines have a flaw. That flaw being a "bit-drop due to imperfect LFSR."
This shows up when an Ace is dealt and that causes more aces to be available on the draw. He goes on to say you will be surprised how often 3 more aces will appear.
The LFSR he says is part of the RNG. To me this flys in the face of randomness. I tried this at a real casino on many games. I found when holding a ace and discarding the face card I missed out on alot of pays.
Sure sometimes another ace would be drawn but no more often than another face card.
How do some of these so called experts sell this BS to us?
What do the members here think?

Never heard of it. Does he mention his source for knowing about that "flaw" in the machines or did he dream it up after holding an ace and getting dealt 3 more a couple times?

He did not say. But he does claim to be well aquainted with IGT and Action Gaming designers. I think authors make up this nonsense to sell stuff and part us from our money.

The only time you do that from what I understand is DDB Poker. Unless the other high card is suited-like A K spades keep both.

There is another well-known flaw in video poker machines called 5XBS that gives you double pay on quads if they come up when the second hand on the clock is between the 10 and the 11. These credits add up enough over the course of a session that most experts advise waiting to draw from a 3 of a kind until the second hand on the clock has advanced to the right place. I have made more than $44 million on this flaw just in the past three weeks. Oh, also, please buy my book for even more expert tips --- it's free, if you will just pay $34.88 in shipping and handling. The book is 100% guaranteed and fully refundable (except for shipping and handling charges).

Wow! You must be playing that new game" extra extra super triple double double delux plus plus bonus aces."
I just know that was a great game the first time I played it myself. I got 16 or 17 royals in a row. Can't remember the exact number. They even gave me a free buffet on top of it all.

Extra extra super triple double double delux plus plus bonus aces has been pulled from a few casinos after several players purchased the casino after 3 hours of play and fired the previous boss. I guess they didn't want to get fired by the next customer.
