Good morning Webman,
Please advise on this - is this my system acting up ?? or part of the background to the contests page ? for the past few months  I seem to be getting a REAL bright white flash at what seems to be an increasing frequency close to each time banner ads change. I understand the ads and reason for and don't mind them - BUT THIS BRIGHT FLASH (IF NOT MY FAULT) IS GETTING TO BE A ROYAL PAIN.

We haven't changed anything on the ad display side in quite some time. There is a white background as the ads load, is this what you are referring to?  We will be reworking that area shortly and we could select a different color when we do.

this is more of a quick flash - maybe its just more noticeable now with new moniter updates ?????
