This morning I got an offer, the most up to date from MGM mLife that indicates resort fees ($38 a night) is waived in clear letters (not in fine print) as part of the 3 night stay. I've played about 3000 hands of $1 9/6 Jacks or Better, still in Sapphire status.

Wow, resort fees of $38.00 a night? The only area that I would take advantage of would be the workout room and if I did want to get a workout in, I have memberships in 2 national chains that I could take advantage of. How much does it cost to layout by the pool? You're paying for drinks when you do that anyway and do they reduce the resort fee in the winter months because the pool is closed?

My bad, I was looking at the Aria rate in which I do not have an offer for.The Luxor goes for a rate of $28 a night, and has the followingHigh-speed Wired Internet Service in the guest room($14.99 value)Daily Fitness Center Access ($20 value)Incoming faxesDaily Newspaper 800, Local and Domestic Long Distance Phone CallsNo mention about pool access.

golden nugget resort fee is $20+tax.google golden nugget resort feeWow!  Good catch Doris.....when I looked at the link provided by the other poster, the one titled "Cheap resorts"  that page says 5 bucks, and when I went to the Golden Nugget-LAS VEGAS  Website directly i could not find any mention of Resort fees,  but when I did exactly what you suggest, googling  the words "Golden Nugget Las Vegas Resort Fee", I received EXACTLY what you stated, a message that says $20 resort fee (PLUS TAX!)   But in fairness to the website "Cheap resorts.com"  the $20 resort fee did not take effect until January 19, 2015, so clearly the website needs to be updated.Again, Thanks Doris for the catch, you might have saved some of us a few bucks if and when we book at GN Las vegas!!!!!

These fees are absurd......why on earth are people standing for this???  is there some sort of "movement" afoot to get the LAs Vegas resorts to scale back or even eliminate these fees?????  They are not fair in the way they try to "HIDE" them

Ever look at your home phone bill ?

Just within the last few years, the phone companies FINALLY quit collecting the tax that was established on telephone service in the US to pay for the Spanish-American War.

And have you ever flown Spirit Airlines? I think they charge if you want to use the bathroom on their planes. Corporate America has decided most people don't care of pay attention to the details but the cable companies and the phone companies are the worse and the casinos are steadily closing the gap.
