Just in from vegas

Just got back from vegas and thought I would share my experince. I'm a live poker player by trade. I all ways wanted to know why I couldn't win at vp at the casinos here in Indiana as I travel alot and get to most all Indiana casinos. So I jumped on the internet to get some help and found this web site. I would like to share my experince because I learned so much from this web site. I read, practice and learned as much as I could and then applyed what I learned at the Indiana casinos and found what you guys say is very true. I started to come out ahead. I learned alot of lessens all though some very hard lessens at that. The best advise I can give is what Bob dancer says and that is "shop those pay tables". Know what to look for and go find it.
When we planned this trip to vegas I again read all I could in the fourm post and came up with a plan to stay off the strip and play the best places for vp. After quickly finding out that we couldn't win at any of the casinos on the strip we jumped in the car and took off to the casinos that the locals like the most. Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch. My best advise is to STAY OFF THE STRIP. The best place to play imo is the station casinos We had the best time at Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch. Period. I found a DWB at Red Rock that had a 25/13 pay table and hit 5Aces and latter on hit 4duces. Imo the strip sucks compared to what these guys have put to gether at RR and GVR. We ate at the RR at terra rosa, it was good. But the best was the King Fisher at GVR, it was great. I have pics of these wins if would like to see just email me at Indycableguy@Yahoo.com and I'll be happy to show ya. Like I said the best advise is to learn, practice and the hit the best pay tables you can, but rent a car and stay off the strip in Vegas.... Some of the other exciting stuff while I was out in Vegas was of course the WSOP that I had a chance to play in and see for the first time. Hey, in my hart I'm a live poker player first and a vp play second, lol. The WSOP is like the going to the super bowl. It was great and I saw a lot of pros like Jonny Chan, Mike Sexton and Phil Ivey. Also playing in a 2/4 holdem game (live poker) at the Flamingo I hit my first Royal Flush ever. To bad it wasn't in vp but it did have a nice bonus of $320 bucks tied to it.
So, thanks for the post and thanks webguy for this web site that help me understand vp better...
