Just guessing, but I take it no one showed up at the meet and greet for lunch/dinner/show?
dude, go shoot something will ya?   There was no "meet & greet".....I just announced I would be in AC (yet again) and put it out there that if.....IF....coincidentally anyone else would be there during the same time, to put it in THIS thread so that I (me, myself) might make an effort to meet them if POSSIBLE.    Only two people (KingAmerica and Carcounter) even came close to an actual response and only on of them had anything remotely similar to actual specifics (time & place, etc.)    Sadly, I could not make it to the Borgata Sunday Oct 17 at noon to meet carcounter at the B-Bar (if in fact he was actually there, since we had no further communication on the matter.)That being said, I am totally UP for a meet and greet if anyone.....ANYONE wants to put one together in AC anytime in the future......the period January thru Early March, apart from the cold, is a GOOD time to meet up in AC since this is the slowwwwwww period and there no doubt will be plenty of empty rooms with people eager to give group discounts to a gaggle of gamblers......

Sorry to hear that no one showed up. For the life of me I can't understand why none of the 360,000+ members of the forum wouldn't wouldn't at least give you a grip and grin. Tell you what, on your next trip to NV, make a stop over in Phoenix. I'll comp you a night at Wild Horse Pass and dinner at Shula's. Then we'll go shoot something, Dude.

DB, I was stunned to see with my own eyes yesterday someone hit a quad deuce at what I had flagged a suspicious machine at Borgata. I guess I was simply trapped in its longish losing cycle that day. He got a cool $1000 for his trouble. Nothing like that I in 5000 hand event hitting, as Phil says. Much more common than the vaunted RF too. I merely won $24 on $30 free play. And gave back $21 in about. 90 minutes.

"meet & greets" (wow what a super silly term that is) on this forum, my informal "hey if you happen to be there blah blah blah" was no worse.....I'm surprised you eat at steakhouses, I would think a Real American like yourself would never pass up the chance to blast & butcher your own cow.....I'll pass.   Wouldn't want to get caught in the crossfire and wind up a statistic.

Actually in CK's neck of the woods steer is probably more appropriate. Shows how much you Harvard type easterners know...

Umm, since I am a Harvard Type Easterner, I speak "Harvard-type Easternese", and over here in general casual reference or conversation (which I believe this qualifies as) we call them "Cows or Cattle"......If someone lives on a ranch in Arizona they probably call them "Steer" as you suggest, BUT maybe not.......       Someone like You, Tedsnark, who resides in (or near) the Hogbutcher/meat packing capital of the world  (and current Firearm-related-homicide capital of the USA) , "(oh) Chitcago", calls them delicious....or maybe just food.....

Not any sport in shooting a "beef" cow DB. Most "COWS" that make it market are really old, having served their purpose in calving, or at a dairy. Bulls on the other hand have a distinct flavor all their own, and don't make it to market until they've served their purpose as well. Usually, male calves are turned into steers, unless they've been bred to produce exceptional offspring. Heifers, on the other hand grow up to be "COWS". While Cows are cattle, they definitely are NOT STEERS.
