for the comment about me going into a different line of work. I don't think it was me so much as the material I had to work with.  Some things are just funny when they are stated as they are.The real comedy came in the response that I received.

I added a nice comment of my own about your posts but couldn't save it because the thread was being closed.

new2vp, some people are naturally funny and some are smarta$$es like myself who occasionally make funny comments. Either way, yourself and Shadow are to be commended for keeping the numbers end of the VP game in line and valid.

I added a nice comment of my own about your posts but couldn't save it because the thread was being closed.   Then thank you, too.  I was also closed out of my response because, as you know, I take too long massaging my words until I'm happy with them.  But, when my name was mentioned again, I went ahead and responded.  I thought of you cringing at its length, but went ahead anyway in my normal manner.  Again, I thought everything I said was nice, true, and from the heart.

Sorry to interrupt mid-topic on those. At some point a thread gets so off course that it's worth archiving and stating fresh with the original intent. Feel free to simply start topics with the same subjects as long as any warnings are adhered to.

I get this immage of Webman wearing a striped shirt and having a yellow hanky in his back pocket at the ready to throw in a moments notice. Personal foul, EDC for illegal chop block; personal foul cd, clipping, personal foul Eduaaaaardo, either for not understanding the mothball joke or for not being funny enough in your response. Personal foul, ted, go to your room...

That's true, but in our case no challenges are allowed that might overturn the initial call on the field.

I think of WM's situation more like that of a kindergarden teacher with a roomful of rambunctious kids.   We even get sent to "time-out" for bad behavior.
