....this moron lost his right to own his gun the moment he chose to pull the trigger FIRST instead of calling 911 the moment he actually, truly thought the 14 year old kid on his doorstep asking for directions to school was INDEED a "threat".....

I've never ever received a satisfactory answer regarding why...WHY people who insist the 2nd Amendment gives everyone the "right" to walk around with implements of death never seem to notice how often it is that innocent bystanders actually end up receiving the payload. It's ridiculous....

You have grown men afraid to leave their houses without strapping on enough firepower to take out an elephant and you wonder how it can go wrong?

No. I'm wondering why the flip all these gun toting "Americans" don't learn to use the dang thing properly so that they hit (and only hit) what they aim for....you have to pass at least two tests to earn a driving license to drive a vehicle.... essentially prove that you know how to operate the vehicle ( and then you need insurance if you actually wish to own a vehicle)
Tell me why you don't need any of that to own and carry guns, except in a few of so-called liberal states that have " tough" gun laws and actually make you register, license and receive minimal training? That should be universal, across the board. You should also be forced to carry firearm insurance in case you cause " unintentional" destruction or death/ injury.
Will it completely solve this idiotic problem of innocent people being plugged by trigger happy dolts? No, but it wouldn't hurt

What will completely solve this idiotic problem of innocent people being plugged by drunken/high motorists driving motor vehicles? Insured, or otherwise? These same drivers who passed at least two tests to earn a driving license?
Just asking.

Ted, this just happened last night in a neighborhood, I'm all to familiar. The driver didn't bother to hang around, after he stopped to remove her from the windshield of his vehicle, and discard her body in a parking lot. So we don't know if he passed those two tests.

And now they are banning knives in London. Good thing cause my family convinced me to take a trip to England and France this summer. I told them I'd rather stay in the good old USA and see some things here, but I was out voted

That's awful...really. so let's just do nothing, say nothing, and keep on playing VP and cowboy right?
I'm not poking YOU personally because I know fifty people within Five miles of my house who just shrug and go back to their chicken pot pie and wheel of Fortune whenever I talk about real issues.... it's just pathetic.
You want a solution? Read the Lord's prayer, the first part....thy kingdom come, they will be done. It's only the entire theme of the whole Bible, old and new....God the Father's Kingdom ruled by his only begotten son, one Jesus Christ. I'm totally serious
