It is not that these people are winning it is what they are winning with. Dealt hands that take no skill or luck at all on a fairly regular basis. I have never been dealt AWAK or a royal in a contest. This the seventh month of the new monthly contest I have gotten 2 royals.To your people that is a common week.

As for my current ranking in the monthly Pokerforme it is not strange to me I am doing well. Webman will allow me maybe a day or two more in the sun, then he will throw my behind down to the bottom again. Just like he does every month.

This of course is coming from someone in Webmans inner sanctum. I respect your opinion BJ also it is worthless since you are a benefactor of Webmans bias.
You may call me and my opinions many things, EDog, but please don't call me or my opinions worthless. Webman,Most of us on this site appreciate your work - this site is well maintained and the contests are fun.  I have never won anything but enjoy playing; especially as there are no casinos in Texas.  To those who think they have to be part of an "inner sanctum" to win perhaps they would be better off not playing.  Repeatedly asking Webman the same questions (and hoping for a different answer) is a waste of his time and of yours.I don't want to offend anyone on this site - but give Webman a break.

I do not want to make this pick on edog day, but alot of the stuff he is venting about happens at the casino as well. While I play away with near perfect precision carefully selecting only those machines and games with optimal pay tables, often times there are people around me, many times right next to me drawing or hitting royal flushes and aces with kickers.

That's just the way it is. Got a friend at my local who has made a profit each of the last three years. I have no reason to doubt him. We have played side by side on many occasions and I swear he nails 4oak's at least 10 times more than I do.

If he is playing DDB and gets a hand with two Jacks and two 10's he tosses the tens. Even though mathematically this is not the optimal play he claims that it one of the reasons he gets more 4oak's than I do. Go figure.

Luck, I believe, most of all.    I use the training mode sometimes which help me to weed out some of my weaker habits. I love poker and try to enjoy the challenge and not get too hung up in winning, though it sure is exciting when I'm lucky enough to do well.    Good luck everybody.... and have fun!
