Re: Double Double Bonus Poker
I love DDBP. I really dig the rush of getting aces or 2's - 4's especially when you get the kicker. I was at Red Rock Station last week and held one ace and got dealt the other three and a 3 kicker. Two grand later I'm fellin' good!

I like DB and play in A/C at Resorts. all I can find is 9/6 db games... Is it playable or should I revert back to 8/5 bonus poker. Is there a strategy card for 9/6 db?

9/6 Double Bonus is a gouge. Full-pay is 10/7. Prefer the 8/5 Bonus any day.

Any game with an ER over 100% is considered Full Pay. With comps and cash-back and promotions, some games with less than 100% return can be considered FULL PAY if you would spend cash on the extras anyway.8/5 Bonus Poker is 99.166% ER. 7/5 Bonus Poker is 98.015% ER.10/6 Double Double Bonus is 100.067% ER. (FULL PAY)9/6 Double Double Bonus is 98.981% ER.10/7 Double Bonus is 100.173% ER. (FULL PAY)9/7 Double Bonus is 99.106% ER.9/6/5 Double Bonus is 97.806% ER.9/6/4 Double Bonus is 96.375% (unfortunately, 9/6/4 is the one you see most often in Vegas at low denom)9/6/5 DB with 400 SF and 1000 Quad Aces is 99.047% ER. You can find this every once in a while.9/6 JOB is 99.544% ER. (FULL PAY ?????)8/5 JOB is 97.298% ER.That should give you some comparison figures for the "short pay" games.

Come on, people, if you want a smoke-free, quiet place...go to the library! Lots of folks live in the smoke banned state of California and just LOVE to go to a good casino so they can play and also smoke inside. (Which they would never do in their own homes). Make your choice, but quit whining. Casinos offer those sanitized, quiet little "loser" rooms if that's what you want. Or..you could still play on-line in the comfort of your own home in your fuzzy slippers with no one to bug you.
One of the many reasons I prefer VP over table games, is that I can opt out from interface with other players, those who want to "boss" the table or complain about the airconditioning or other people's choices.
Please keep VP real. Stop whining.
For me, all I want is a great casino with lots and lots of choices for all kinds of VP with lots more jackpots, lots of noise, lots of action and lots of people having fun.

What do you mean by "gouge"? Is it because it drains you and then drowns you type of game?
