billy, when you go from a commission to an enforcement group, sounds like a good move to me.

How is that a good move Faygo? A relatively independent commission vs a government agency that has vested interest in it. An epitome of conflict of interest!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at the Revel. Mine was not so bad. I did wait in line but it went fast and I was instantly upgraded to their Level 4. Of course their VP selection left a lot to be desired, but then again all casinos(except a few in Vegas) are now basically phasing out VP in favor of penny slots, which are by far the biggest money makers for the casinos. I just really liked the place. It is the closest I can get to a Vegas-like Hotel/Casino without actually going to Vegas. Liked their no smoking policy, but hated tons of cigarette butts on the ground at the entrance. Looks really bad!!!!!! Plus having hundreds of people blow smoke in your face right before you walk in is truly disgusting. Bad decision by the casino. They would have been much better off by creating a designated enclosed smoking area within the casino. Or do smoking/non-smoking areas inside, like other casinos. They should know that smoking and gambling goes hand in hand. Totally agree with you about the fox in the hen house. Looks like Faygo is the only one seeing it as a positive. Did you also notice how Garden State Parkway is getting a total make over which includes adding another lane to it. Guess they are expecting heavy traffic to Revel real soon!

Faygo, if you experience something illegal, and take it to a ruling body, who do you believe would give it a fairer hearing? (A) An independent body with no financial interest in the outcome, or (B) a government body that collects taxes on that enterprise, and would see a significant reduction in revenue if that enterprise lost their ability to operate.
I know who I would choose to review my grievance....

Well, we will have to see how Revel pans out. I told that VP that I spoke with that they missed a great opportunity the week I was in town for the Harrah's/Caesars Seven Star Event, when you had hundreds of Harrah's/Caesars' top players in town. I told him that I would have had a bus from Revel at each of Harrah's four properties there in AC that weekend, staffed by scantily-clad ladies, offering to process their Top Tier Card on the spot, along with a couple of hundred dollars in free play just for joining.
He agreed, laughed, and said that he wished that I was at their last management meeting.

If you have been robbed, do you call the neighberhood watch or law enforcement?

Actually, since I understand that the police cannot be everywhere, I would shoot first, and then let the police come and put up the yellow tape and take pictures.

sorry I've been away a few days. I broke my own summertime rule and went back to AC for four days plus .... it wasnt all my fault, A wedding I wasnt planning on originally attending suddenly became a urgent matter once i found out it was open bar.....even though I dont drink much, all the single women there would be..... Shadowman, I am not reading any more regulations....I totally understand your point and where you are coming from, and you totally DO NOT understand where I am coming from or what Im putting forth..... Problem = yours Feel free to continue to tell me everything you think is wrong with me in this thread, and how I should tell all my friends who used to work in casinos and law enforcement that they are 100% full of Sh8t. Thank you for writing. Gregario!!! Thanks for posting. Did you see the recent NY times article that showed how Aqueducts total revenue from slots and racing now exceeds on a monthly level the TOTAL combined revenue of ALL atlantic city casinos? Clearly AC still has no clue, the business they claim as "lost" has been there all along in NYC and elsewhere, its just people are sick of all that is wrong with AC. This makes "cheating" an even greater possibility in VP because, when faced with desperation and oblivion, what have they got to lose? Or so they might think in their warped narcissitic minds. A commision VS. gaming enforcement agency? who knows which will work out better, but I do know that in either scenario, investigating individual VP machines is just about DEAD last on the list of priorities and urgency. Revel? They are doomed. 100% doomed.....I experienced a similar fate as sevenstar-bilyjoel when I went to get my Revel Card, I was treated like shiiite. I am only a Diamond club, but still, they had a bunch of idiots working there.....I also pointed out to two big shots in suits standing in the entrance to the boardwalk that they put the wheelchair and scooter ramp wayyyyy down on the far end of the boardwalk entrance, did anyone else see or notice this? It is 100% halfassed idiocy. Aside from the REVEL having a unique appearance and inside view of the ocean surf, I see absolutely NOTHING special or compelling to make this place attract all the other players from the other properties. AC needs to loosen its games up and implement SPORTS Betting. They need to drop room rates to vegas levels and give them away if need be to fill up the casinos. They need a REAL airport. They need to clean up the bums, slums and all other dregs. they need a huge lesson in customer service for the whole town.

Now let me tell you about my recent VP experiences in AC these last two trips I've made there (especially this past weekends visit 07-24 thru 07-29) The VP games there are definitely 100% fuggin rigged. Especially at the Tropicana and Resorts. I didnt win a f-ng thing, things were so bad that every time I sat down to start a session, I almost always fell instantly into a 30-40 dollar hole (25 cent to 50 cent games with whatever had the best paytable) and spent the rest of the time digging a deeper hole, never ever reaching back to even. This continued without fail for four plus days, all day no matter what machine I chose at the trop or resorts. My zero value hand rate was about 71% for the entire trip, that is just ridiculous. But the machines clearly were not right, and here is the KICKER: Everyone else I was with this past week, about 15 people all playing in the wedding party, plus any random strangers I happened to chat up and watch play for a while, NO ONE else was winning either, and most were really disappointed or downright pissed. It was not VP we played in AC this weekend, it was more like really bad slots. I didnt see any royals, and only 1 hand pay on a progressive. The trop is definitely on my shiite list now. But now we all know what the standard answer to this dreadful scenario is, right? It wasnt rigged, it was simply variance, and volatitlity, and the nature of "true randomness"!! (Da burglar does stroke-off motion with wrist) Yeah right, Randomness. Now we all see why rigging VP is far easier and more likely than ever, because anytime we experience statistically horrible, seemingly aberrant results, we just dismiss it and assume its random variance, ALWAYS. But come one, 71% zero value garbage hands? and nothing but crap in the rest? ANd this happening to dozens of people on the same pool of machines over a number of days? BS No, of course it doesnt PROVE rigged, but it sure doesnt disprove it either.
