Among choices below:

1. Single line $5 denom
2. 5 play $1 denom
3. 10 play .50c denom
4. 10 play .25c denom Ultimate X or other carnival games with same bet amount.

Obvious choice apparently #3 but posting here in case I missed something.

A lot depends on the pay-tables.
Don't believe #1 can be beat on that point.
Could be wrong since I am not a multi-hand player. Mostly due to never seeing good pay-tables on them.

Pay table is a good point. Which game you are playing (DDB, Deuces etc) will matter as well.

From a pure volatility perspective assuming all other things are equal, then most likely #3 wins out. But #4 could be worth considering depending on the game (not ultimate X).

For example, I have gotten a LOT of play for my coin-in playing Super Hand Poker on Deuces. The fact that it has a bonus triggered on every hand, and wins on the deal/draw makes it a relatively low volatility game compared to some other 10 coin bets. But that's based purely on my observation, I don't know the actual volatility calculations.

You only asked about volatility but another consideration here I think could be handpay frequency if that matters to you.

My assumption here in looking for low volatility is that you are looking to extend your sessions and not burn your bankroll too quickly?

I think that because the original poster specifically mentioned Bonus Poker, they are looking for low volatility. I have never played Bonus Poker and most likely never will so I cannot comment on which option 1 - 4, would be the best option to pursue.

From a purely hypothetical standpoint though, I would lean to option 3.

Yes -- extend sessions and possibly earn more tier credits. Single line $5 denom would be ideal especially for Bonus Poker because 8/5 apparently available for $5 denom and above at many casinos but bankroll risk is too much for me.
