Steve, the 9/6 on JOB (Jacks or Better) refers to the payout on a one-credit bet for Full House (9) and Flush (6).  At 9/6, JOB is considered Full Pay though it falls just a tad short of 100% payback.  The casinos adjust those paybacks to increase their revenue off of the machines.  I've see JOB on machines that pay 6/5.  As a rule, the higher the values on Full Houses and Flushes, the better the game....except on Deuces Wild and a few other non "Draw" type poker machines.

I live in Las Vegas and don't know where any 9-6 jacks or better machines are. Pretty much all of them are 8-5. If you know where one is let me know.

Four Queens has nickel 9/6 JOB.  Fitzgerald's has nickel 10/7 DB.  I think you will probably have to go to the locals casinos to find 10/6 DDB though in nickel coins.  At the quarter level and higher, there are a lot of places you can go.

You can go to http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/referenc ... opoker.cfm and see a list of available full pay games all over Vegas.  Plenty of 9/6 available.  You just have to know where to look.

But for the casual "hunter", you are right.  You'll be fairly lucky to find full pay.
