I think  your machines a set a little tight for beginers.  It discourages them from playing  even if it is for free.

lucky,

I've been playing supertimes pay for several years and it's become one of my favorite games. I have gotten some incredible jackpots with low denominations on these machines. The game on this website plays virtually identically to those in the casinos.

Keep in mind though, that this is a game with high variance, especially when played as double double bonus, which is a high variance game to begin with. High variance means the game has large swings up and down. On supertimes, you also bet an extra credit per hand to activate the multiplier which adds to the swings or variance.

The key to this game is to play a low, affordable denomination with a fair pay table and wait the game out. Even if you're playing 10-play nickels, for a $3.00 wager you win $20,000 if you get dealt a royal flush with a 10x multiplier. While the odds of this happening are staggering, it is possible, so the game must compensate for that with the extra credit per hand bet.

Go to wizardofodds.com and look at the pay tables for supertimes vs regular games and you will find that supertimes increases the return by approxiamately 0.8-0.9% across the board.

I still your payoffs on the Super Times Pay Video machine are too in frequent and too far between. I plalyed last week for five days and got four aces twice and you can make more playing the regular board that using  the multiplies.  Why dont you give us a break and  re regulate the machines.  We come to play to get relalxed and not stresses out.!!! You know it is for free so nobody loses.  I think this will benefit the newer players in  finding out how to play.

Lucky, I don't believe that any manipulation of a VP program, that would do as you ask, would in any way help a new player. It would certainly increase their expections to such an unreasonable level that the actual machines in the Casino would destroy them and their bankrolls . The beauty of VP is that it is what it is. There are many here, including myself,  that use the tracking features in the Gold membership to compare to our Casino experience. I have found that the results of the play here vs Casinos machines to be essentially the same.
There are CDs of  Slot Machines that allow you to set the return at an artifically high amount. You never lose on those.

Although Faygo and Tanqueray don't do so bad on a certain "Double Diamonds" machine.

I think the games on here pay better than the casino. But, everyone perception is different! There is no such thing as loose or tight machines IMO!

damule,

I think you may want to recheck your numbers regarding the increase in ER when going from a regular game to Super X.

Here's what I come up with.

Game        ER          Super X ER      Difference

9/6 Jacks    99.544      99.821           .277
8/5 Bonus    99.166      99.442           .276
9/6 DDB      98.981      99.256           .275

This is not really " 0.8 - 0.9% across the board."

I played Super Times Pay yesterday and the pay table for 10 play deuces wild was 9/5.  Today it is only 9/4, and I am being asked to come in as a player or industry professional.  What's up with that?  Why the change to the pay table?

I play Super Times Pay a lot and I think it is just the same as a machine in a casino, just as they say it is.  Everyone experiences volatility in their results. It is not a plot on the part of the casino or manufacturer. Some days you are luckier than other days.  That's how the game works.
