Sorry to hear about the bad luck KO, if it really is bad luck and not something else with the programs....Hmmmm...I haven't been up to Mohegan Sun that much lately due to ongoing medical issues with the folks, but I have noticed the following....no quads for several hours at a time...Then 4 or 5 within just a few minutes. Here is the problem with that kind of pattern...Usually, the bankroll will run dry or nearly so when the quads start hitting. I have come up with a way around that, but unfortunately, it requires an even bigger bankroll or playing smaller denomination machines with poor paytables.
Here is the short version. As usual, it is a Martingale Clone. I have been ahead every time using this method, but too stubborn to cash out and take a break or just quit for the day. The risk of course is no quads for the entire day which will wipe you out.
After losing on job, 25 net units ( like 5 quarters a total of 25 times which means you are down 31.25, bet 10 quarters until you hit a quad, or you have another net loss of 2.5x 25 = 62.50. As a last resort for the day, bet 20 quarters or 5 bucks a hand until you lose 5 bucks x 25 = 125.00 If you bust without hitting a quad or lots of full houses playing this way, you will have lost 218.75 on the quarter game of course on the dollar game you would have lost 4 times as much.
Playing this way and hitting just 1 quad keeps you in the game. On games that pay 50 for the cheapest quad, you just wait on upping your bet until you have lost the amount the quad would have paid if it did hit.
I was ahead a couple of hundred bucks playing this way in every session, then the inevitable happens if you don't quit. You run out of time to play, or you run out of money. I still think the RNGs have changed with constant wild swings in the hits. This also happens a lot on long streaks of no flushes or full houses, then bunches all at once. Best of luck on future trips...Olds...
