I learned my lesson the hard way (no pun intended) on craps...craps
is crap. It will get you sooner or later. No doubt it's a fun exciting
game and socially or with friends, it's a fun game to play. But don't
try to make a buck from it. Entertainment. Anyway, cheers and stay the f away from craps...that's my advice. Truer words were never typed. I thought VP had variance. I've never seen such deviation from expected results in my life. Thank you for your conclusion from experience and saving me from further misery! I have a fun enough time on VP that I don't need this Reverse ATM torpedoing me week after week! Back to RF and Deuces attempts, hard core.

your behind the line odds bets have no house edge at all and your pass line bet only gives them a half percent.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yeah. 1.4%, 1.36% House Edge on the Don't, my preferred route. Both reduce by about half taking odds. I figured, how tough can this game be? Uh, tough enough to get socked for $50 hourly losses while not even taking odds. I am absolutely livid and my only recourse is to pull the plug. Sucks to make the complementary table bet and leave the table, but experience is the best teacher.

craps, I don't think there is a game like it where you can make so much
in so short of a time, or lose so much in so short a time. But it's a negative EV game except for the odds bet. One
dealer I know told me one time the best way to play craps...buy in for
$100. Tell the dealers you'll be back in about 10 minutes while you go
to the bar and buy a drink. Come back and take your $100 and cash out.
Best way to play craps lol...well, I thought it was funny. Laugh, damn
you! lol-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Damn you all to hell, craps! The bizarre thing is that I only did pass/don't pass. Even taking odds is crazy risk exposure in absolute terms. Still ate my lunch. I was literally in no mood for lunch afterwards. You've been there, done that, as has Olds. I can only hope to learn from you guys and steer the hell clear. It has been a relentless money pit.

Deuces kicked me in the shorts again tonight. That's two big losing sessions back to back. Maybe 7-8 thousand hands without a quad deuce. Got too cocky with my wins this month and had to give some back. $1 jacks not so friendly anymore either. So month went from +$2400 to +$1200 in two days. Need the elusive Royal to make things right. Need May to be a positive month. Got only a few days left. Come on :)

$1 jacks not so friendly anymore either.----------------------------------------------------Pride cometh before the fall. And one bad fifteen minute JOB stretch makes you wonder why this is considered a safe haven. I'd like to bang out a nice $125 quad next time, have lunch and go home. Not fooling around with any extended stay burial option.

Broke the deuces curse and hit one tonight after around two quad deuce cycles. Glory be. Now maybe after 80 flops with 4 to a royal I can hit the Royal and pop that b$&@h too.
Come on!

Hit another quad deuce last night, was up $300 on .25c single line fpdw play, but ended it up $100. Chipping away slowly some of the hurt on the two bad nights. Up overall for the month VP at $1600, but donated yet another buy-in on WSOP.com of another $100 so the grand gambling total is $1300. Month isn't quite over yet, room to go up or down.Curious on how you guys are doing? What games are you playing? How are doing this month? Check out my you-tube videos, let me know if you have any questions or comments or whatever.Oh, did I tell you I want...I need...a royal flush? Yes, I do. I think that's what keeps me going. The endless pursuit of the fix, getting that damn RF...Later,me

***May month in review***
Started with a bang, ended with a whimper. At its peak second week of May was up $2600, but the losses were right around the corner. Last session played almost 5k hands with no deuces nor Royal. No royals the entire month.
Will end up +1,308$ in vp with 90% .25 fpdw, 2% loose deuce, and the rest played on $1 JOB and $1 Nsud. $-300 in online poker but that is another subject another day.
I expect to not play as much as work gets busy for the summer, but will post when I do.
YouTube was a fun experiment but got too weird with a few people and I had to stop. I may not be completely done with YouTube but will not post vids like before.
I will continue to post on videopoker and enjoy the forum and discussions, whether we agree or agree to disagree.
Cheers and here comes June! Watch out.
P.S. Got one last session in the wee hours of May 31st and was down on the session another $200 which brings the May VP total to $1,108.Didn't realize I could actually play over 9,000 hands without a quad deuce, but it's happening to me. Fortunate that I can play on a FPDW machine, the other deuce varieties would surely be more brutal to me. Looking forward to the session when I nail 2-3-4 or more quad deuces and stuff it back in the machines face. In the meantime, feel like Rocky, taking the punches but still getting up. Cheers

Every facet of life is stuffed with good and bad timing. You had a great month regardless of a downswing or two.
Didn't realize I could actually play over 9,000 hands without a quad deuce, but it's happening to me.
When my wife and I go on our extended video poker vacations, together we can play as many as 10,000 hands a day or more.  If you add this up over a week, we are playing at least 30,000 hands.  Occasionally we will have a week where we only hit one or two quad deuces between us.  Thankful, a royal can pop up along the way and save us.  The average of one quad deuce about every 5,000 hands seems to be accurate, but they have been known to hide for quite a while.
