I know triple play is suppose to be a better game, but I have never been able to get past the losses.   Unless you're dealt a dream hand, you might just as well flush your bankroll down the drain.  It's like going down a slide with wax paper on your butt.  (Google it)

It's not a "better" game. Every thing is the same, except for the fact that, in effect, you play the same dealt hand several times in a row. It's great when you have something promising dealt, and, obviously, not so great when you are dealt garbage.

The swings are, indeed, more dramatic, but over time, they do tend to even out. And, if you are trying to gain or maintain status of some sort at the casino, you do accumulate points a lot faster.

Well...time will tell. On a downswing last two sessions for sure; however, honestly speaking since starting to play triple play only down $7 dollars total. In the meantime, earning mucho points and comps. The wins and losses are expected to be more dramatic due to the variance of three hands at a time, however the triple magnifier of the losses when you miss is also a triple magnifier when you hit.
I guess the only thing to do is keep plugging away to get a bigger sample size to see if I want to continue the triple ride or do something else.
Cheers

I did the Quad and Quit thing yesterday. Poor comp/point harvest. But an hour of give back wipes out my gain. And on a full pay machine, still stuck with crap.

I can see how people would like triple play.  After all it's triple the fun right?  I've tried it a bunch of times and always seem to come out a big loser so I quit and go back to single line play.   It's probably because our triple play games have even worse odds.

Negative expectation game even with nicer odds. Keep your powder dry. When they go high, you go low. Diff strokes.

I usually have been playing fpdw, but the triple play deuces is the "ugly" deuces. Meaning I lose 5 coins with the quads, but gain 5 coins on the flush and full house with the "ugly" deuce. Everything else is the same payout.
Amazingly quads is hit so much on deuces wild that these changes reduces ER from 100.76 to 98.99. Even with the extra points and comps I'm earning, it's a 1% difference. Nevertheless, these are theoretical long term stats over millions of hands. In the short term, we get negative and positive sessions and who knows when we get to that expected return.
Regardless, two down sessions can't really tell us anything, and I've played a total of 6 sessions of triple play deuces and came out so far -$7.00. This does include points earned as free play but does not count comps, mailers, and possibly an upgraded legend slot club status.
So six of one half dozen of another, let the RNG machine decide my fate on results. I'm not married to it and can move on if it gets too "ugly" (pun intended).

We had a chance to play both on our last Vegas trip and we seemed to do better on NSU over full pay.  The strategy is similar to the 98.9% game we play at home, so it makes us more comfortable keeping two pair.  I guess it's what you're used to.

Long story short, played about 1,047 spins (3,141 hands) of triple play .25c deuces. Hit two quad deuces, up +$166 and called it a night so I can go home and walk the dog.
On to the next,
Cheers
