Re: My Journey on Video Poker
Thanks for keeping it real.
A while back I had an unreal hot streak of 16 winners out of 19 visits - including some real doozies too. I was up thousands. When the cold streak hit, it was bad undeed. The math took over and they got the majority of it back.

Sometimes even is a win....
Tonight was sheer grit and determination not to lose. I just hung in there and at one point was down $600 on .25c single line 10/6 DDB. It finally started to hit some hands including two quad aces no kicker and 3's with a kicker and somehow broke even after about 6,400 hands. Tired and thankful and getting out of the casino.
Cheers
PS was a complete break even...and it feels like a win.

Think of coming out from a casino like this: equal to a baseball batter hitting a foul ball while sitting on a 2-2 count. Unless the batter swung at ball 3 of course.....

I won $1 today net trip cost. F my luck, the system I can't buck. Three max coin quads fully burned through. SMH. Another futile Marina side trip, with Harrah's seizing my Bally's booty. Mentally exhausted and thrilled to high tail it out of Dodge.

Tonight turned a probable loss into a win with a bottom of the 9th quad aces with kicker. Another long session. Started with $400 and was down to $30 bucks and hit the aces/k and cashed out up +$100.
Although not the big win I was hoping for, it was better than the alternative and chalking it as a w and nice change from the recent slaughters...
Cheers

Yeah. It's driving ourselves into the abyss that's the problem. Personally, I'm reeling. I am putting that damn lock box in my casino bag as soon as I get home. Hell to the yes.

Only one quad but was a good one. Relatively quick session of .25c 10/6 DDB, hit the aces with kicker somewhere in the middle. Played for about an hour. Up +$300 after costing me $70 dollars waiting for my coffee
Out the door noticed the nickle royal progressive 7/5 DDB (10 coin-in, so really dime game in reality) was up to $1125 for the Royal. With full points and multipliers in this game was positive, so played off some free play on it, nothing of note, cashed out up a buck and paid for the coffee tip at least....
Cheers and on to the next

Two straight sessions of 4 Aces with 2,3,4. And both have the ducks in a row too. Very nice photos. Sheer terror for me is -$50.

VP gods in a giving mood, crazy night
Started with .25c 10/6 DDB, fairly quickly bagged the elephant and hit the progressive royal at approximately $1,062. Cashed out up +$1,150 on the game.
Then decided to go to .25c 5 play deuces to earn some points and comps...wasn't doing so great when blammo, flopped 4 deuces for a cool $1,250, hand payed hit and cashed out of that game up +$750.
Then capped it off playing $1 single line bonus poker and hit the aces and cashed out up +$305.
So all in all total with about 2 hours of play up +$2,205.
What a difference a day makes. Days like today remind us why we play video poker...too bad they don't come more often.
Cheers and do likewise!
