Bagged the elephant tonight, a royal on .25c 10/6 DDB. +$900. Also hit a quad aces early in the session but got the bitter sweet 5 for the kicker.
At any rate, a thanks to the VP gods for the royal gift, much needed in this flogging month for sure. Doesn't put me up this month but definitely helps me not be too down.
Cheers

Felt bad about winning all that money last night
So in a rare pre-work session of .25c BP game back -$200.
Never easy...
Cheers

Still must feel bad as I give back more.
-$220,
.25c 10/6 DDB. Did hit the aces once and deuces, no kickers.
Tomorrow's another day.

You must have six RFs on the year. I guess if you do six to ten times my volume, that's right in line. It's working out well.

We are only 9 days into December and it's proving to be a real struggle for sure. I guess it was a long time coming after two strong months and one fairly good, but damn. lol. And December of all months to boot. A month when wins are more important than ever due to the gift/vacation month. Nevertheless, bagged a Royal which certainly helps. Still 22 days left and anything can happen. But the struggle this month is real...not surprising, but numbing. The solution is to continue the grind and wait for the big fish to start biting, hopefully sooner than later. I agree that the premium hits are essential, I.e., aces with kicker, royals, or a string of 2,3,4's with kicker. Sending extra good tidings to the VP gods.
Cheers!

Twilight zone royal tonight! +$845...
Was playing my usual .25c 10/6 DDB tonight. Bagged the elephant once again with another Royal. I looked at it and though, wow,
Looks a lot like the Royal hit two days ago. I looked at the other Royal,
And if I'd be a monkeys uncle, identical! Same suit, same order. Crazy. Only difference is I saved three cards to the Royal instead of one last time...but weird. Anyway, with two royals, bingo Bango, we are up for the month.
Of course, after the Royal goofed around a bit and hit aces with a kicker on full pay deuces. Se la vi.
So the extra prayers to the VP gods have been well received. Time to be thankful and survive another day of VP world.
Cheers

I was made humbled by the VP gods today by the Royal as I played another rare pre-work session and was schooled out of -$360. Absolutely nada. A nice reminder that the struggle is still real!
Cheers

Wow. And I filled in the Ace of clubs like you did last early Tuesday morning in the 3rd spot. Odd. I would have much rather had it in quarters though.

After the second royal I really thought this month was going to turn around. Nope. -$400 tonight. Should of been a winning night since I hit aces no kicker, deuces no kicker, a few quads ,and two sf. But the dry spells were so dry, wiped out those wins very quickly. Struggle is real this month.
