New Years Day

Just getting to this now, I work at a very busy grocery store, the holidays where hell!
Hit the casino New Years Eve after wife and I got out of work. Had a nice two night stay and 2 meals comped by my host. Not much going on the 31st. Lost $500 and went to bed at 3am. Wife came in at 5am up $100.
New Years Day I hit the floor at 9am. Moving down a empty bank of machines playing $1.40 bets. If I lost $15 I would move to the next machine. I get to the last machine in the bank and got the 10 of diamonds to fill in a 4 to the royal! Pays $1120. The most I can get without a tax form.
Now its 11a and wife and I hit the brunch line. After eats it was time to hit the floor. They had drawings for $2020 every to ring in the New Year. Also at 10p there was a draw for $20,020!
You gain entrees from your play all Dec. I don't put much faith in getting drawn but as they say it only takes 1 entree to win. As luck would have it I get drawn at the noon first draw of the day! $2,020! I split it with the wife and we play all day till the 10p draw, no 20k but what a great start to the new year!
