Starting with the "hell" part, no premium hand on TDB so I decided to switch games.

The "hell" experience continues, this is the real hell experience of this game:


I think I have played only about 2K hands on AC Joker in total. But I have hit natural royal flush twice on this game. Waste of luck.

After 5 minutes, I hit a straight flush


After 10 minutes, the "heaven" part...


I have hit all big/rare hands on this game, so it's time to call it end. Perfect play returns 97% only.

That's quite a session! In the past, I've played in Atlantic City, but when I saw that natural royal payout of only 500, I just never could convince myself to play that joker game. My brain is simply too tuned into a big natural royal to let me do it.

forgive my confusion but did you play in Atlantic City or is this just you playing Atlantic City jokers wild poker in some other casino somewhere else?

also as i understand this specific game you are more likely to hit a big 4000 jackput, than you are in a conventional video poker game like job or dw, where you earn royal flush 4000 jackpots. i can intuitively see the variance on a.c. jokers wild poker is big compared to conventional games but i don't know the actual numbers. im going to look them up because i may want to try this game if and when i find it next, whether in a.c. itself or elsewhere....

Joker game is a lot more fun and interesting to play but strategy wise it’s hard to play. You have to do some math in game and calculate the penalty cards for holding single mid card and it may slow you down.

Ocean casino in AC has 99.9% joker (two pair). Caesars has double joker paying 99.9%, use 8400 for royal for your strategy generation which makes it 100%. Caesars properties also have 50/18 Joker Kings or better paying 99.2% (the 4700 royal version).

For me, royal flush is more interesting and memorable than 5 of a kind.

Yeah, even royal pays 4000 on this game, it bumps the return to just 98.6%.

However, if 4 of a kind pays 100 instead of 80, it return 100%.

The only time I don't mind hitting a wild royal when playing AC Joker Poker.

You know the are knuckleheads out the that would've tossed the joker!

wow this is all interesting and im starting to realize totally above my head at the moment. yes i visited the wizard website along with a couple other places after googling jokers wild AC version.

im no way cut out to play the game shown above at 1 dollar 10 hands at once. that comes out to 50 dollars per deal. im not a high roller and even if i could afford it i wouldnt be one, but if i can find this game in 25 cent credit mode single hands or maybe even 3 hands (again at 25 cents) I might give it a serious try. thanks to all for answering my questionss
