Not a "JackPot" but....

Hello all..I hope everyone is well..Haven't posted in awhile as I've been trying to cut back on casino visits...Yesterday I went to meet a friend in Gettysburg, PA and long story short I never found him so I decided since I was so close I`d go see the new Hollywood Casino up the road near Harrisburg...Anyway I'm in there feeding $100 bills into the slot and losing my butt on that stupid "Triple Trouble" game and next thing I know I`m $900 in the hole and cursing myself and anticipating a horrible day..I got off of that game and ended up on some kind of Pick Em Poker game that had jokers or something and was playing 5 hands at a time with $5 on each hand (So $25 per game) in hopes of hitting something worthwhile and recovering some of my money..It dealt me a joker and a 5 and one of the two draw piles I could chose showed a joker on top so by picking that I had at least 3 of a kind in all 5 hands..I hit that one and saw the points adding up and my eyes went right to the middle hand and saw I had a straight flush and started reading the pay table to see what that would get me and was happy..But then the points kept going and going well past that and I finally focused on what was going on I saw I had hit not only the straight flush but also 3 four of a kinds and a five of a kind!
Normally I never stop on a winning hand but when the points stopped adding up I saw I had exactly the $1000 I had put in and in a rare moment of strength I reached down and hit the "cash out" button and said "Screw this!" and headed for the door

Congrats Sara, I was down a bit yesterday and took the money and ran when I hit aces with a kicker on Triple Double Bonus. I was thinking about taking a roadtrip to Harrisburg later this fall, is it nice? Thank and congrats again, Ted.

Sara, congrats on the nice hit(s) and having the strength to cash out and scoot however, upon perusing your entry, what exactly is a "jackpot butt?"

Ed, Does everything have to be spelled out "exactly?" Although it cannot
be proven with conclusivity, some examples, including my own particular
bias, might belong to the following:
Alessandra Ambrosio, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry,
Beyoncé, Jessica Biel, Gisele Bündchen, Carmen Diaz, JoJo, Kim
Kardashian, Miranda Kerr, Eva Longoria-Parker, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer
Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, Kimora Lee Simmons,Kate Walsh, Renee
Zellweger

Ah, you kids. Try Jane Russel, Ester Williams, Marlyn Monroe, Steve McQueen(oops, wrong forum) to name a few. Know there was others but too old to remember them.

Jayne Mansfield, Betty Paige, Janet Leigh, Natalie Wood? Note for new2vp; about half of that list have had doctors help in making them cameraworthy. Kinda like what piano dude loves and thinks is so worshipped. I prefer to see the woman with what God gave them so there's two different points of view. Also BTW, did you mean Cameron Diaz?

My rule , "when I have lost all the money I intended to or won all the money I intended to." Actually when I hit a goodly number I set a low limit and cash when I hit that point. Beating yourself up after the fact does not do any good. Trust me.

Thanks Faygo. The hardest thing for me is..... I think I learned a lesson.. but, somehow tend to forget it in the instant of a win.

Raz, easy to think to yourself, "just one more hand and maybe I'll win it back!" If you set a loss/win limit for yourself or have a limit for gaming per session/day, that should be your cardinal rule to follow, not hunches or "this one's due!" They're all due. Just not today. More important is to have a good time. Don't get uptight because you didn't win. Just enjoy the time away in the casino.
New2VP: I forgot to include Jean Harlowe on that list. My error!
