With a trip to Alaska coming soon Ms. L and I decided to make one last quick run to the casino. Shouldn't have gone....things to do... didn't need to go ...didn't need to spend the money...but....

So with a very limited bank roll and even less time..off we went. After Ms. L hit three quads, then the Aces, then the Progressive RF, then the Aces again, then 2's and 4's with kickers we called it a night!

Memories of the quick trip may help while in Alaska and we can't even connect to videopoker.com to get our fix.

Like everyone else we lose too. No one wins all the time especially with negative returns games. This was Ms. L's first RF of the year compared to my 4. Her cold streak has been killing her.   

By this time last year she had 5 RF and ended the year with 10 vs. my 3. Sometimes this is due to our play format. I play a lot more multi-hand 5¢ than she does and we only count RF that are 25¢ denomination or better. Our streaks are usually opposite each other, so I anticipate its my turn for the cold streak since her streak appears to be warming up.

Our previous trip I whined for hours playing the right hand play after play losing almost all of my bank roll until a couple of modest hits came late. She was hitting like crazy and caught a G statement. This trip I was completely down. But, as long as one of us is winning we're happy. It when we are both losing that life really gets unbearable.   

Minimize the losses, celebrate the wins and enjoy life!
