Royal Flush
Went to The Grand in Biloxi This past Monday August 6th. 10 minutes after I got there I hit a Royal Flush. Hit the same machine 2 years ago the same suit Clubs.

Congrats. Royal flushes are always fun. Just don't invest to much chasing them as they are few and far between.

Boy, you got that right, Faygo. The Grand in Biloxi has been one, dry desert for me in VP. I usually stay at The Beau, and just go to the Grand and the Palace to play my FreePlay there, and then skeedattle.
Congrats, LadyCuffs

WOW, I can't believe this. I didnt even think it was possible to get a RF at the Grand. I have played there I can't begin to tell you how many hours and have never even got a hand pay and I play $1 and up. What denom where you playing? Im with Billy, I go to the Beau even though the pay tables are worse I normally win there. Even my friend who had not hit a Royal in 8 years (only plays a few times a year) hit their first RF at the Beau. The poker gods must have been smiling on you or the machine malfunctioned the Grand it the worst for med. to HL players. But congrats.

I've been to the Grand twice and got wiped out both times in no time at all. As far as royal flushes go I played a ton of $2 denom DDB at Harrah's/Tunica for 11 years and never hit 1 single royal, I only saw 1 hit in 11 years at the $2 denom. You could hit everything else like clockwork but a royal flush was out of the question, since Harrah's opened back up after the flood it's been crazy bad there and I rarely go there anymore.

first off, congrats on your RF win!! Secondly, all you people who have played at these "bone dry" casinos, where you go years and years from hitting a RF, dont you ever begin to suspect that maybe, jusssssst maybe, they have them set to almost (ALMOST) never give a RF? By set I mean programmed or "rigged" (semantics, take your pick.) You are apprently able to hit quads ok like someone said, but not RFs. See, this is the exact manner I would suspect a place of rigging its machines, by excluding a specific type of result, not a all results or a whole range of results. We've all encountered such machines, ones that never seem to hit a quad but do deal everything else, even an occasional RF. And vice versa, plenty of quads but no RF.....and it goes on for years! Come on, devils advocate here, whats the deal with these places down south? Or elsewhere?

Good grief, many people only play once or twice a month at most. You wouldn't expect them hit RFs more than every couple of years.
