4 Vegas Royals in a Week!!!

 My wife and I were in Vegas 7/23 - 7/27 and I had the best luck in the 11 years we have been making the trip.  We were staying at the Monte Carlo, which doesn't usually get great reviews for VP, but I always seem to do well there.  On Monday we contributed to their re-modeling project (MC is tore-up right now - 1/3 of the casino is roped-off) and Tuesday we pretty much broke even.  On Wednesday, I hit a royal on a quarter DDB machine and two 4 of a kind w/ kickers.  I was happy to get back what we had lost and play on "their money" for a while.  Friday was the day!  I hit 3 quarter DDB royals at the MC, in a little over 4 hrs.  Four royals in one week!  We have been staying at the MC for 9 yrs. in a row and I have hit a total of 8 royals there alone.  They don't have a huge selection of VP machines, but of all the Vegas casinos, MC is where I have done the most damage!

Fantastic, you were blessed. I've only hit 3 royals up to this year and I play all the time. I'd have to look it up but I think I've hit 5 in 2007. I love to hear about casino trips like this because it gives me hope that someday I'll hit 2 royals in one day.

It certainly was my best Vegas trip.  I hit a royal at Argosy Indiana in May, so I have 5 this year.  While in Vegas this week, we were in the NYNY casino and my wife was playing 100 hand penny poker.  The guy beside her was dealt a royal!!  Machine automatically populated the 100 hands for $4k - on a penny machine!!  Poor guy only got $2800 after they took $1200 in taxes, but he was still happy.

Good going, BoB! Wish my June trip to LV had worked out that well! We were at the Paris and did lousy. We did hit the Brew pub at Monte Carlo but didn't do any playing. My '07 play has been a drought of Royals!, Much like Ohio's weather. Planning a August Swing thru the Indiana river boats, Grand Vic, Belterra,  and all the way down to the Caesar's in Southern Indiana! Hoping for a change of luck!

It will, sooner or later - I've had that happen 7 times in my 14 years of play, and I've had one day with 3 Royals on single line play.

Congrats on the Royals.  I'm off to Vegas in the a.m. for 4 days.  I'll be thrilled if I hit one.  Like posted, I stayed at and also did quite well at NYNY last trip, prior trip stayed at Paris and couldn't hit a single quad.  NYNY also dealt me 2 quads at a table game called "crazy 4 poker" within 10 minutes. First paid $450, Second one I upped my bet and got $900.
One thing I fell for there on VP was where the bet max button is on most machines, there are some $1 machines where it is bet $100. It's in the high limit area and kind of dark so you can't see it.  Luckily I was playing BP and pulled out 2 pairs.

Hit a Royal today.....I was all done for the day, put in the last hundred into the progressive DB..held a club King and Ace, the other 3 came up..Jackpot $5,300 and change.....Always happens when your ready to call it quits....and I did call it quits......

My jaunt thru the Indiana River boats turned out pretty good! 3 boats in 3 days  for 5 Royals! If only all the trips were that good!! First was a .25 DDB single line held a AK of diamonds..Bam CALL ATTENDANT! #2,3,4 were on a 50 play.. dealt 4 to a Royal!  #5 was on a .25 10 play TDB again drawing to a AK ..plus one hand was quad aces! First trip in a long time wife and I both came back winners.
