Video poker is much like fishing as you will plainly see...
Getting lots of dud hands is like casting into a tree...
Holding just a card or two is like a little bite, but when you try and set the hook, the fish have taken flight.
Your rod will double over when dealt four to a Royal. You try and hook the big one often getting nothing for your toil...
You tell your friends a story about the one that got away. Your box has just a few worms left to try another day........Olds...........

And if you don't have luck don't feel like a schmuck. Or something to that effect.

I understand.
Give a man a royal flush and he will be happy for a day.
Teach a man to play video poker and he will sit in the middle of a lake and drink beer all day
Mixing metaphors is so much fun!
