Just got back from a few hours downtown. Walked out 100 bucks to the good but saw 2 huge VP jackpots. First was the $1 progressive, it was at $7600. There are only 8 machines and I was playing on an end one. About 10 minutes of playing. I hear the girl on the other side of mine say "I got it". Sure enough she held,the Ace of spades and filled in the other 4.

On the way out I try a triple play machine and just down is a couple playing $1 STP 3 line. I looked over and they were very calmly discussing something on the machine. I look and they had a 4x multiplier and were dealt 4 aces, caught a deuce on 1 line for a jackpot of $14,400!!!

Up or even is a win in my book. When you can spend your entertainment $ and come out even or up what a great option.

Has MGM Detroit brought in any new $5 video poker machines? I was there last in 2013 and they still had the same four machines in the high limit room that they have had since 2008, two IGT and two game makers
