You'll never see this hand again

5-Q-Q-Q-5. Decided in the monthly contest, to go for quads queens by dropping the 5s and two remaining 5s took their place. It will probably never happen again, but it was amusing while this particular hand showed its existence. God only knows which order and suits these hands take and we'll never know if we have seen them for the first time, last time, or reunion from a prior occurrence. So many unique deals and draws, how could we remember.

Just like snow flakes. Even if I played the same hands, wouldn't even know if it were the same queens and fives, since I dont even remember the suits now.

Mathematical Odds of your incident:

1 in 693 to be given a Full House on the draw.

1 in 1081 to be given those 2 5s to replace the 5s that you've had.

1081 * 693 = 749133

1 in 749133 chance of it happening, there is a better chance you are dealt a Royal Flush than this!

Unless you were playing spin poker or ultimate 4 of a kind poker, I do not think you break the full house in that case.

Yeah, these numbers assume you always break a full house. In DB/DDB, you're only going to break Aces, or Aces-4s for TDB. I'm guessing onenickelmiracl decided to break it on a flyer.

I'm personally still waiting on successfully breaking a full house. Hopefully it will be on a higher denom when I hit it!

Do you ever play Quick quads vman? Pretty easy breaking full houses on that game. Single handed play, I've at least broken 33322 to replace the fh and also to get the qqs.

Only happened to me once. I guess this isn't technically a full house, but playing deuces wild I was dealt a 22266, and I tossed the 66 and got a 2 in return.

I've broken up AAAXX only 5 or 6 times in DDB (I don't play DDB nearly as much) and never got my quads from that.
