I found out first person last night at Four Winds New Buffalo, MI that when dealt a natural royal (courtesy of 3 magic cards): it will auto hold the hand.
Stopped there on my way back from the Notre Dame game.

Congrats, Ted. That must have been fun to cash out at a real casino. There is also an autohold with 2 Magic Cards (with a dealt 3 to the Royal) on this website. I saw it a couple times in the recent 7-Star Monthly contest.

Thanks New, it was a nice little unexpected surprise. I was playing for about 15 minutes and I was mumbling because I hadn't seen any magic cards up to that point. A couple hands before the royal I got my first magic card, a solo, and couldn't connect with it. A minute later I got the dealt royal.

Ted, what was the denom and were you playing max coins?
I have had dealt royals in both casinos and on VP.com and they have always been autohold.

As I mentioned earlier I was returning from the Notre Dame game and after eating dinner with my family it was turning into a very long day and I wasn't stopping at Four Winds for a marathon session; I basically stopped by to knock off some freeplay and I was close by so I figured what the heck.
I actually played my freeplay on a 10 play TDB .25 denom game. I caught small aces and decided to take a hundred of that and play Magic Deal for a few minutes to get a feel for the game.
I was playing 10 hand .05 denom, 2k handpay.
Thanks all and good luck to you.
