Hell yes. Sometimes it’s best to call it a day after an hour. Set your phone timer nice and loud. Rise and leave the building when it rings. You stay, you pay.

Ludicrous. Even if you play 800 hands/hr, that's 50 sessions before expected RF. If you're playing jacks, that's a long time for a payout. As for me I'm not making a 2hr. trip each way to play less than 10-12 hours minimum. That gives me a better than even chance at a handpay.
One hour? Other than locals, those who get a quick jackpot or those with insufficient bankroll- who does this? May as well not go.

It's been that bad for me. The quick jackpot fantasy has dissolved into a reality of busts and regrets. I would love machines that let me pivot from quarter to fifty to dollar, but that's not how Caesars is organized. It is either the numbing quarter JOB routine on the progressives or the dollar flame outs. I usually shuttle back and forth between the carousels like a chicken with its head cut off.

Untrue. Many options to "pivot". You haven't and refuse to do the legwork.. Or you could just play at a sustainable level wrt your bankroll and exercise patience.
You seem to like BP,. Play that at quarters max bet and stop running around like a CWIHCO. If, no when, you get a jackpot, go to 0.50 and get your handpay. It's true- there are machines that offer that denomination. Stop being the one taking pictures and bemoaning others' good fortune and be the one others post about. You have little idea what bad is.

You’d be surprised how hidden such machines are to find at Caesars. It’s like a UFO sighting. They are all too content to force this uncomfortable bifurcation down our throats. BP below dollar level sport- you guessed it- inferior pay tables. The game/denom sweet spot is extremely elusive. I will do some scouting upstairs, but it’s a futile expedition. And VPfree is an antiquated joke, offering no help.

I was amused by three Caesars security guards headed in my direction from the main aisle. Turns out this determined trio came to escort a sleeping patron from the adjacent carousel. Have you seen this given your unorthodox MS schedule?

Mohegan Sun does not allow sleeping anywhere in the casino. Sometimes, I guess nobody is minding the store and a few go un noticed. Sometimes, after a long tough session, I have nodded off myself at my own machine. More often than not, security will come by and tap me asking if everything is OK. They do watch everything very closely. Last year one time I had evidently been dealt a quad on JOB and nest have zonked out right about when I hit deal. I woke up in a minute or so to find the quad was un held. I noticed it just in time.

Waiting twenty minutes for a Baileys in a fairly empty casino was absurd. These must be the most antiquated CWs in town. Hate to strike a nerve, but it is what it is. Molasses drips and turtles would have served me faster.
