I use the train jitney as a makeshift cab. I was waiting at Harrah’s with a dozen people for the regular jitney. Eight were together and i anticipated a crap show, so I bolted for the train jitney. It meant a very long walk to Resorts. I also drag my Panera drink around. I always get the $50 gift card with $10 one free in December.

FAA….. i’m sure you know this already but just in case….Your 7/5 Bonus Poker has a 98 percent return. Short coin bets reduce your total return to somewhere around 96.5 percent in round numbers! 😬

I am well aware. I love playing at Harrah’s even though the pay table is a slay table. Resorts HL room 8/5 BP is spotty unless I can stay afloat at the $5 denomination. The most relevant fact for me is that my return is pro rata unless I hit the RF.

I always liked Harrah’s Marina.

The pool is a marvel, and supposedly always 82 degrees. But admission is $20 for hotel guests and $30 for anyone else. It’s a massive maze with five towers. I always build my hopes with long entrance.

Sad Saturday. I won $10 on my $30 Resorts dollar BP FP. I soon hit a small premium quad. Train jitney to midtown, store browsing. Jitney to Harrah’s. I lost $340 in ninety minutes. CET jitney to Caesars, walk to Resorts. I was determined to get a second quad. I did, but at a $45 cost. Net Day: -$380. 195 TCs.

Bummer! I can’t remember the last time I left ahead. The sad part is I was up at some point every trip! 😬. The Mrs is much smarter than me. She cashes out on her nickel game every time she is 5 bucks or more ahead. She plays 20 bucks at a time. 25 Twenty dollar bills. When there are no more bills to put in. She cashes her tickets and if she is ahead, she quits. Ultimate X nickel game. 3 lines DDB.

Yeah. Of course that’s a popular method. I’ve never had the patience for it. I may play quarter BP for two hours just to feed the action bug. Then I would pivot to dollars. Or I can spend the two hours in Tropicana IMAX for nineteen dollars and avoid the early afternoon devastation altogether. There is now also Dave and Busters, which will also kill two hours for twenty bucks. ABC from one to three. Anywhere But Casino.

Superb Saturday. I won 0 on my $30 Resorts BP FP, stoned thrice on a five dollar machine. BO (Bet One) guy was on adjacent machine. I shifted to dollar machines and soon hit a max quad. I gave it all back, mostly on that machine, in forty five minutes. But I sensed it was worth my while. I then hit a max quad Aces. I decamped to the sports book for Michigan-OSU, a rivalry since 1897. I was determined to recoup last trip’s loss, but will settle for 92% of that debacle. I still have a score to settle with Horrors, but it can keep. I found a five on casino floor upon departure. Net Day: +$351.
