Re: CS Straight Talk Review
Lmb11,not sure of your location in LA,but Paragon casino in Marksville has quite a few machines with 9-6 JOB and DDB from nickels on up.Most are 20 credit max bet and also offer 8-5 aces and faces,9-7-5 double aces and faces,13-4-3 bonus deuces, along with several others in the 98 percent range. This is by far the best option I've found for a limited bankroll player.I just hope it lasts.

That is pretty good for quarters. These days 99%+ games are offered for $1 minimum.

We take frequent video poker vacations and road trips and have played all over the country. Outside of Nevada, our favorite so far is Colorado. We were last there in May. Airport Deuces (25,15,9,4,4,4,3,2,1) is common in quarters. NSU (25,16,10,4,4,4,3,2,1) is on six machines on the top floor of the Monarch Casino. Black Hawk in a great place to visit and play. The entire state is non smoking and they treat you well. If you want to drive south a few hours, you can visit Cripple Creek. It's an old mining town stuck up in the mountains and a very interesting day trip. Bronco Billy's has NSU deuces in three play. Airport Deuces is common, but you have to look for it. The altitude takes a little getting used to. We love Colorado so much we look forward to it each spring. We hardly ever play anything but DW, so I don't know what else may be out there.Biloxi/Gulfport is a pretty place, but a vast video poker wasteland. The new Golden Nugget casino has Airport Deuces in dollars. The Island View in Gulfport has quarter 9/6 Jacks at the bar, but you need to get there early because the seats fill up and stay that way. I don't drink, so I give the bartender a $1 every now and then and that seems to keep them happy. If you drive south about 30 minutes to Bay St. Louis, you can visit the Silver Slipper where they have Airport Deuces in dollars. The Beau Rivage is one of the nicest hotels in the Southeast. It's a real treat to stay there, but don't play more than a couple of C-notes unless you like losing. CS was originally developed as a way to survive at the Beau Rivage. We have avoided Tunica so far, but it's on our list. The Florida casinos are generally lousy except for a couple of exceptions. The Hollywood Hard Rock has a whole bank of quarter Airport Deuces and I have seen three play 9/6 Jacks a few times. Tampa has Airport Deuces from .50 and up and the tiny casino in Immokalee has it in quarters. Anyone else have any decent VP?

I saw this place from the Midwest mentioned on casino talk forums many times.
Hollywood Casino - Maryland Heights, MO
It might be boring just to stick with one Deuces Wild game. You can try different games that return over 99% for quarters such as Bonus Poker, Jacks or Better, Super DDB and Triple Bonus Plus.

We took a long video poker road trip through the Midwest about 4-5 years ago. We were surprised to find decent odds in a small native casino in upper Michigan. The place was a metal barn in the woods, but the odds were actually pretty good. Finding good odds in a denomination you want to play is always a good thing. I guess there are two minds when it comes to casino managers. One says give decent odds so people will come back and others just want to fleece everyone that comes through the door. I'm starting to get picky in my old age about where I play anymore. I'm not ready to fly to Vegas each month, but I'm not the easy mark I used to be.

Based on the Casino Talk forum, the Soaring Eagle is the best place in Michigan. I think it is one of the states where they take state taxes for jackpots.
For Vegas, go on the SouthPoint Casino Shuttle from the McCarran Airport and go no where else. The staff supposedly treats low rollers well since the owner Michael Gaughan instills those "everyone is equal" values in their employees.
Hence there is no tiers in the Club cards and no special short cuts in the buffet line.
“Our Mission at South Point is to know and understand each customer’s expectations… Our Goal is to surpass them.â€

I know a retired couple who just happen to be around Mr. and Mrs. Phil's age and in fact they could almost pass for their twins! They love South Point and split their time between South Point and Mohegan Sun. Both H&W hit many many more Royals at South Point, but hit many many more Aces at Mohegan. They like Mohegan Sun a lot too. I can as you folks know vouch for the lack of Royals and in fact I hit Aces quads almost every trip to Mohegan, but mine would be on job or Deuces Wild. My Mrs. does fine with Aces quads at Mohegan as I have posted several times before. Go figure.

I am guessing they are hitting more Royals since they get to play much longer with their bankroll with all those 99%+ games (over 10,000 of them, more than anyone else) they have over there. Hopefully that is the case
