Do you prefer Smiths to Safeway? There is a Trader Joe's down the street from me but I don't think that's for your everyday needs.

Which is nice, too, because we kneaded something to rise above the anger.

Trader Joe's was great for cheap booze back in the day! When I lived in So. Cal, Nick's Pizza in Costa Mesa was the best. For under $20 you can get a big ass 5 topping pizza, and you are full after 2 slices. Vegas really needs something like that here.

I knead a good pizza and beer right about now, but after the casino trip, I just don't have the dough.

I just went to Tropicana's Broadway Burger Bar for fish tacos. Superb, minimal carbs. We should all bypass them, before needing a bypass.

I think the pizza analogy that notes1 utilized to start this thread is a good one, for the point(s) he is trying to make. But alas, it all boils down to personal preference and the nebulous concept of "utility" when evaluating just what each individual does or does not do when it comes to gambling, traveling, game choice, etc.     The economic concepts notes1 is focusing on are sound......and plus one for his "NY Blowhards" shot, I agree 100%

eduardo, galleygoo and DB, thanks, glad you thought the analogy was relevant.  i could have said 'tacos', same pont, sometimes, you just got to have one, whether it is authentic or not. DB, did not know you were ill, hope you are recovering.

DB, I rarely go to AC anymore. still enjoy the marina area, but the boardwalk has lost a lot of it's appeal for me. and, when i do go, it is on a free (yeah, right) junket trip.  don't think i mentioned this before, but the last time i went (month or two ago), was when you and jeter were going to meet, and i was just going to stop in. but, my arrival was the day after your meet, so it did not work out. right now, prepping our house for sale. have not been in a casino since last the AC trip. good luck at the poker tables.
