FAA, I'm not going to say that I'm sorry for your losses today but how many times have you sworn off $1.00 play?

Too many. I felt that a change of venue would be beneficial and couldn’t have been more wrong. Back to basics. I’ll be scooting station to station on the Caesars quarter carousel six pack. Or a spell up at Hard Rock when I want to walk the boardwalk. Low stress and risk. I know you’re a high roller. But strict BR limits must be upheld.

FAA, I am by no means a high roller and I agree with you about adhering to bankroll limits. With respect to that I have advised you in the past to give some thought to limiting your casino visits and save up to have a bankroll with which you can have a fighting chance. With your style of play a quick hit is almost a necessity and if it doesn't come that's when you start getting nervous.

You spoke in a different thread of another player being -800 and what that would do to you if you were in the same situation. A player has to be able to weather the ebb and flow of video poker and if they can't; they should think about a different gamble.

I've spoken before about having a positive mental attitude and some people here made fun of that. I was watching the LPGA tournament today and one golfer was asked what was the secret behind her improvement in putting. Her answer was: before putting, I maintain a positive mental attitude and I envision the ball dropping into the cup, hearing the rattle sound that it makes.

I continue to wish you luck with your play.

PMA helps in sports and most endeavors. Gambling is substantially luck. PMA ain't making the RF or any other premium hand come quicker. Obviously time to scale the hell back and get off the losing treadmill. I do have better PMA at Caesars now. It's the lesser of all the town's evils. At $1.25, minimal stress. Settle in the bank, relax. Treat bank as a friend. There's no better option.

Sad Sunday. I won $28 on $25 Caesars JOB FP, and increased it to $48 on a dealt quad threes. I lost $25 table FP on five to seven craps. 2.5 hours on Masters. I lost $30 at Hard Rock in a blink. Only an 8/5 machine was hot. I did see a girl win $1,000 on a 777 slot. I lost another $28 at Caesars in PM. Net Day: -$29.

: Best of luck FAA on your next trip. Hey, where is the best place in A/C to get a really good Philly Steak sub? And Ted, speaking of positive mental attitude and winning, I do believe in that. So to join those who may think you are crazy, I will add myself to the list so they can call me crazy also. Up until I was ten years old or so, I could make a pencil spin a bit on a smooth flat table. I could also make a small toy car move a half inch or so on the same smooth surface with my mind. I cannot do either anymore, though my wife has seen me predict the next hand on vp several times. And no I don’t sit there and predict every next hand. Once in awhile they just come to me. Finally, no I haven’t smoked any strange things or had one too many Peronis.

I would say Chickie and Pete's, a Philadelphia institution. I see that they also have a lobster cheesesteak.

Fruitful Friday. Progressive $1,000.82. Beaten to the bucks. I played dollar, won a bit. Then I returned to my lowly bank. I won $40 on $25 Caesars JOB FP; it escalated. I won $25 table FP on eight point hit. I left for lunch net +$100. Half mile walk to realize place was too far, so I returned for +$29. No time to shop either. Rainy day, hot machines. Net Day: +$129.

Satisfactory Sunday. I won $24 on $25 Caesars JOB FP. I added $30-$40. Once I started losing, dollar BP and bust. I lost $25 table FP, rolling a twelve, all in an hour. ATM. It actually worked, clawing back $94. Net Day: -$30. HL petite lady won big; four hand pays on two machines. I had three quads, two max. 32 TCs. Great outlet sales. Relieved to return with most of outlay. Must work quarter for ninety minutes to avoid doom.
