Re: The Path
Satisfactory Saturday. I won $27 on Caesars JOB FP, soon lost plus $50 on dollar dream play. I later hit a max quad three quarters. I won my $25 table FP on a seven craps. Bally’s -$14, despite two adjacent machine BP quads in nine minutes, fives and tens. Ocean walk. I chose $40 FP over gift card. $75 Jacks quad, $75 fives quad exactly an hour later. Seven minutes later, a $200 quad fours! Sports book relaxation. Two hours after this amazing hand, $75 quad nines. I lost $8 seeking my fourth Ocean BP quad, and seventh of the day. Net Day: +$25. Great to win craps, or the day was a wash.

Sad Sunday. I won $30 on Caesars mixed JOB FP. I lost my $25 table FP on nine to seven craps. Ocean walk. Nice wine opener Trojan horse gift. I completely forgot about my quarter play pledge here and dearly paid. I busted after winning $43 on $40 FP. This must not happen again. Net Day: -$210.

So hard to follow, but don’t forget the ten percent rule. Even if you don’t do it, keep track of when you get up ten percent of BR. At the end of the month add up all of those twenty dollar bills you were ahead. The other Br calls it voodo economics, but try keeping track for a month and let us know. I will do the same starting on my next trip. I will make my roll 500, so I will be looking for a shutdown point of 50 bucks. At 4 sessions a week, that will be up 800 at months end barring a 1929 type crash of BR. Who knows any big hit early on and the session up amount could be way more than up 50 for me. Just the other day, I hit a wild royal on dds within the first 5 minutes of play good for 400 bucks. A few hours later, I was back to even. That session ended down 100 bucks

I usually shut down on any triple digit hit. Shut Down Gambling is the way to go for the foreseeable future. I must regroup and regain my bearings. Furthermore, each non Saturday trip will be $30 BR plus $90 FP. I’m okay with enjoying AC! Saturday they seem to loosen up.

I certainly do not agree with everything BR posts, but on this topic I'm 100% with him. You simply cannot overcome the mathematics of the game by arbitrarily stopping and starting.

I would agree with you if i didnt see the results myself session after session. I think it has to do with the way i play Martingale clone. Of course any martingale will eventually bust you, but my progressions are very mild. And you have to have a cut off point. I will just start keeping a journal of the ten percent up point and how many of them i get before the 500 busts. It will definitely bust, but if I have more ten percent ups than the one 500 bust, I will consider myself a winner. I am not going to factor in comps. Except for the free play. That could make my budget 530 or so almost every trip. The free play may even be the key to reach the 50 buck ahead point. Even if I don’t have the discipline to quit at 50, I will record it in my notes as if I stopped playing at the plus 50 buck point

I really do not understand this logic at all. You're saying that several (say, five or six) $50 wins would somehow overcome one $500 loss and make you an overall winner?olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 7:04 pmI will just start keeping a journal of the ten percent up point and how many of them i get before the 500 busts. It would have to be over 10 wins at 50 bucks to make up for the eventual 500 bust unless there is a really good winning hand like a Royal, 4 deuces, 5 of a kind on joker kings, etc early on in a session. Any of those hands would be an auto quit point. Like I have posted many times before, I rarely am not up at some point in a session, but usually down at the end if I just keep playing and playing

Wrecked Wednesday. I won $10 on Caesars FP and lost my craps bet. I won $7 at Bally’s. Ocean a disaster. They pulled the dollar 9/6 JOB. I won $54 on an Ultimate X FH with a 2X multiplier. Ultimately I busted. Net Day: -$105. 11 TCs. New plan is to enter Ocean with Bally’s TITO. Play FP, pick up gift and leave. FP has been way too expensive.

Busted last night myself. I was up way over my should have quit 50 plus point. Thought the machines would stay hot. About 35 straight dud hands on Joker kings finished off the 500 roll. Quoting FAA.....If you stay, you pay.
