I had another minus three figure day yesterday at Tropicana. I attempted to play at Ocean. The two full pays were occupied by a regular and his girlfriend. I made periodic checks on availability in vain. After an hour of $10 per hand play, he hit an $8,000 RF! I was hopeful when I saw him rise and came over, but it was so she could take a photo. I was sick to my very core. To add insult to injury, later at Tropicana I tried my luck at a Mystery Play promo. The person ahead of me got $200! The person on the other kiosk $35. I got the minimum $15. My day from hell.
FAA, why were you "sick to your very core?" You have, in prior posts, seemed angry at other players when you were witness to their good fortune, good luck, or good play. Why is that? Do you have this same sour attitude if someone in the grocery store picks the melon that you had your heart set on?

Regarding the Mystery Play promo, many times these amounts are predetermined based on play and luck has very little (if any) bearing on what monetary amount is awarded.

Edited to add: FAA, you are probably a great person in real life though.

I may get bummed and do on a losing session, but unless it’s one of the crass, rude, or disgusting regulars, I am happy when someone else wins. Many times when we sit down to play, I am sure someone has just busted their bankroll right before I sat down. As much as I would like to believe otherwise, the RNG does not pick and choose its favorite players to reward with a hand pay

If someone else wins, it means the machines are not rigged. That should make you happy.

Rigging is not my issue. It’s being beaten to machines on a regular basis, by seconds or hours, which makes me all the more bitter. It’s a long trip and I don’t have all day availability.

This thread's end date will be determined by my next Royal Flush. I hope for a brief shelf life indeed and that this wrinkle spurs some interest.
FAA, I culled the above from your originating post. I eliminated your talk of the couple who annoyed you, cigar man who annoyed you and, the seagull who annoyed you.

On Sunday March 3, 2019 you posted here (page 34) that you hit a royal flush. Time for you to start a new thread? Oh and in that same post you spoke of being jealous of a guy who hit a $6,000.00 jackpot playing Ultimate X.

FAA stated when he started this thread that he would end it after he hit a royal flush. He hit that royal quite some time ago. If he starts a new thread, there is a chance he may just hit another royal.

Ever since this thread was started I was pulling for him and rooting him on, when he called me a troll that changed the path.

Tracking down a four year old quote is stalker like. Especially one so meaningless. Obsess much?

No obsession, just good at research though. I love watching old episodes of Columbo and The Munsters.

Sad Saturday. I won $22 on $20 Resorts FP. My BR drowned at Ocean. They downgraded all the VP and for good measure converted two of the four into Ultimate X and Triple Play. I got sucked into the UX and busted. Obviously, off limits also. I won $16 on Tropicana FP. Harrah’s and Borgata will now be my focus. Net Day: -$330. Jackpot: $15,990 on Cleopatra slot machine.
