Five quads, nine hours, +$800. Clear as mud! JK, but that’s a negative day for me, likely an outright bust.

When multi is bad, it just eats too fast. One really needs those dealt hands on multi.
That is certainly the case. You can be cruising along thinking things are going pretty good, and, suddenly, it goes bad, and you wonder how your credits can disappear so fast. The other side, of course, is the dealt hands that do come along, and the credits soar. To me, multiline is simply more fun, and I will prefer it over single line every time, as long as the payables are comparable.

Yes, I can see why you think that way. For me the JOB boredom is overwhelming on single line, but when with the Clone, when my bets get into say 12 quarters or higher it gets more exciting. Especially if a Royal hits like recently.
A couple of sessions ago I was playing the clone on spin poker Joker Kings Triple play. I had all 27 lines bet at one quarter per line. I hit a quad on one line and it didn’t even pay for my bet. Boy was that frustrating. I think for me, single line is better when I have 8 hours to play on a session and wait out the cold snaps with a low risk of busting.
Also unless I have a big big bankroll and am willing to risk it all, I should cut my losses for the day if the Clone takes me to bet 25 quarters. and I lose 6-10 hands at that level. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen. Otherwise, I would have to start with 13 halves and if the bets got to 25 halves and were still losing, I would have to go to 13 dollars a hand on dollar play. I can’t see risking thousands per session when I am a recreation player. It is supposed to be fun or not worth doing at all IMO. Frustrating sometimes….yes, but fun overall.
If I stay with the Clone for Ten times my current bet level in losses for each of 25 bet levels, my total loss for the session will be about 800 bucks. Bad, but not where I can’t go back and play for months.

Just pulled into Bizarro Solo for some overnight play. Game plan same as above. Had some black coffee and soup and am ready to go. The bars are closed and hopefully most of the drunks have left. Hopefully the Clone will be with me. JOB 9/6 only as of now. Single line game. I am going to see if my hot machine is open after a few more sips of coffee. No room tonite. Luckily had a nice nap at home before I left. Dodged a couple of thunderstorms to order the most part on the way up. Plan to come up with the Mrs later this week.

👍🏻 Fully agree as another recreational player, some forget that. I accept it for what it is and while I do enjoy net session wins and hand pays, and although I’m in a rare place and up for this year so far (long way to go), I accept that there is a long term house edge and my first goal is to at least meet that each year to ensure I’m playing correct strategies across the various games I play - and offset some by the comps I receive. Hope you had a successful, and enjoyable, night.

Ditto for me (except for the being ahead for the year part)!

It only takes one hand. I would only do FP VP and do AC just for its recreational benefits, all while happily burning my comp dollars.

Plus 845 for the session. Home by early afternoon. Followed same game plan. At least for now, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Lots of JOB quads this trip. Few Full Houses. No Royal.
