is it best to stick with one game and place 1 bankroll for that particular game or is it better to spread your bankroll apart and try to get "lucky" (this assumes each game is a 99% or higher) i know playing different game on different machine has saved my neck more than twice, but are all odds the same?
for example hitting 4 deuces vs 4 4 aces im more likely to leave a winner on the 4 deuces? since its less variance game?

My opinion i dont feel it matters in the long term. Your going to get more winning hands on Jacks or Better then you are on double double. Thus your able to lengthen your bank role but not have the shot at that large 4 ace pay out. As far as deuces wild i always have felt is a sucker game there again my own opinion. Overall its just random cards being played no matter what machine your on.

It pretty much comes down to how long you want to play before bankroll is gone. In the long run, the lowest variance game like job will keep you playing longer. On days where job is quadless and royalless and full houses are sparse, job can eat your bankroll super fast. In a post not too long ago I think Bob D wriote about an extremely cold cycle he played on job. In the short run, anything crazy can and does happen even on the highest variance game. At the end of the year or longer, it all comes down to what percentage games were you playing and how perfect was your strategy

Stick to one game or switch? That's really up to you. The games don't know what you're doing. I say only play the games you know well. If you have the strategy down for more than one, play whatever you feel like.

There was a period where I was playing stupid amounts of hands twice a week, sometimes 12-15 hours at a time. At first I'd switch every few hours but I think sticking to one is probably better.
That's all in the past.

I usually bump up to BP when in crisis. But Ocean shortchanged the pay table at 7/5. So, JOB it is.

The problem with switching games is making errors. You play Jacks or Bonus Poker for an hour, switch to Deuces Wild and find yourselves holding face cards. I think it's better to stay with the same game at least for that session. I've tried some really stupid things in the past. Once I had the idea of playing Deuces Wild and switching to DDB on a run up. What happened was I kept hitting 4 aces with a kicker on Deuces.
As a Recreational Player, I am always trying to find ways to extend my play. I normally play 5-6 hours of VP a day. Playing single coin did the trick, but short coin royals were too depressing. Currently, I play max coin Bonus Poker. It's normally the best game at the casinos where I play and the two pair payout helps a bunch. If I'm doing well, I will move up in denomination. I think that's better than changing games.
As far as long term results are concerned. I believe it is better to stay with the game you know best at the same denomination you are most comfortable with. Time and time again this proves to be best. Incrementing your bet is entertaining, but it costs you more money in the long run.

That’s why I stay within the family. JOB and BP are philosophically and strategically similar enough to keep me mentally focused.
