CET offers for 2015
periodically i will visit alan mendelsons VP forum, never comment, but read what they are discussing. they seem to be mostly west coast and have an above average number of 7* folks. the big discussion has been about a reduction in CET free play and increase in other incidental costs for 2015 over what was given in previous years. this may be due to financial troubles or standard reduction, when a casino feels they have one locked in as a customer. i have noticed my offer for cherokee, which i visit often, seem to have gone down in value, but my offers from AC, which i have just about completely stopped visiting, have increased.

Alan has a TV segment on a non-national local channel in California thus it is the reason for the west coast based. I lurk on those forums too as well. Those guys are above average VP players and that is where I learned about how they rack up tier points on 9/6 Jacks, 8/5 Bonus Poker, and 8/5 Aces and Faces Bonus to get 7Star status to use those benefits at Caesars Vegas.
I saw recent posts where their free play got cut by nearly half, instead they get slightly better shopping offers which do not appeal to them. So 2015 and with all these bankruptcy issues becoming more severe, it is a sign for things to come.
Not sure how much Alan won off of Pechanga (the local casino I go to play VP) to get no-mailed.

alphax, he does mention how many RF's he had last year, i think he is as addicted as the rest of us. but i give him credit. during a discussion about winning/losing at VP in it's current state, he asked the question, 'does anyone ever win?'

Alan had 11 (eleven) Royal Flush hits last year, so he must go through at least 5 folds (at higher denominations) more hands than I do although my count was at 0. He is an intelligent person in general, advising smart consumer choices (craps and VP when it comes to gambling) in a wide area of topics.
I might add those tier rack up points sessions are from CET properties Harrah's Southern California and Lake Tahoe where the good games are at $10 tier credit and not $25 per tier credit like it is on Vegas.
He plots out days where he can maximize the free play offers from the mail, and will use that as one of the days to get 5000 TC for the 10000 bonus. Ten of those diamond-status-in-a-day sessions gets into 7Star. One thing is, there is hardly ever a mention about the horrid streaks. Mostly, won off of free play and played off of that.

i believe he plays a lot. and, you are correct, he often mentions his wins, but in a december post, he says he lost a lot but did not want to state how much. if you are going to brag about the wins, be man enough to state the bad days. i do think he is a smart guy, but his life seems to revolve around VP. he is as addicted as the rest of us. i started reading his site, because i got a kick out reading Fa la la la la... la la la... la. going after certain folks. now, he is banned.

Alan does not mention about playing significantly less, but the offers have significantly dropped from late last year to now. The other forum admin cannot get a second complementary hotel room as a 7star member anymore. Though it supposed to be easier to make it back to 7star with the 50% bonus credits up to 25,000 for the first quarter this year; they're contemplating whether it is worthwhile to get back to 7star. Alan admits that it just happens to play enough recreationally to reach 7star, you will see more quad aces bonus poker pictures than anything from him.
I agree with you that this is a very good example of CET scaling back their benefits, the players on the Harrah's Lake Tahoe thread on the Favorite Casinos section get the most out of CET out of anyone else I've seen here, their benefits will probably still be good.
Speaking of bans, Alan puts up with ********* a few months ago Fa La La La La.... La la la la posted a $50k and $100k hit on $25 TDB. The Fa La La La La.... La la la la strategy is on Alan's youtube page in multiple segments, people on the forum still have their doubts about the 8 out of the 10 winning sessions by going for the big hands or setting goals and stopping once its met.

I found the post where the Fa La La La La.... La la la la person is banned at Alan's forum, even here the name is censored out from the posts as you can see.

Fa La La La La.... La la la la will be back. Alan knows people often read just to see what sh*t Singers causes. He has banned him many times. When Fa La La La La.... La la la la is banned readership goes down (my opinion)

i would agree that readership goes down w/out Fa La La La La.... La la la la. i know many do not like him and he certainly has an ego. i do not like when he gets into the finger pointing and name calling, but, i do agree with some of what he says about the casinos.

It seems like some people on those forums as well as the VPFree/WizardOfVegas/LasVegasAdvisor are not too happy with this year's Seven Stars Signature Events that they've received recently.
No more NCL cruises, as well as no travel expense covered to get to one of the four places. Not planning on reaching such status even if those events were great.
