It was against my better judgement

It was against my better judgement not to move after my hit but the pay table had me hooked. I found this 99.96% deuce game and hammered away Friday morning. There was a 6 hour promo starting at 8am. I put in $900 and some free play and away we go. A little over an hour of play the ducks show up. I always move on a hit like this not that I don't think the machine will hit again, I do believe in random and that the machines are fair. I just feel better about moving is all. It's just me.Well as it turns out I pour back all $1530 , put another hundo and more free play and gone. At this point I am a bit stunned down $1000 and get out of the chair a bit wobbly. I head to a bar top with NSUD (99.73%). Now I know I could have moved and lost the same amount over time, been there done that but again its just me I like to move after a hit.Well I throw in $500 into a bar top machine and less the 5 min. the ducks line up again!You know I moved this time! I cashed out the ticket and $1500 I was dead even at 11:30.Now I move around the bar top but no luck. The promo was a bust and I leave a 2pm down $700 on 7000 hands played. Now it's off to the sister casino to Soaring Eagle over an hour away for the second promo of the day that starts at 5pm. I got my name drawn the last two weeks, but when I pulled in the parking lot I found it 3/4 full. First day for free play and food vouchers 16th to the 29th. I did not feel good about the drawing and as it turned out I was right.I hit this promo on the 10 times entrees day earlier in the month so felt I had enough in the drum. The only good game there is 9/6 Jacks so I play some free play at the quarter level. First to draws go off no luck, just after 6p I slip in my first hundo and hold 3 to the royal and the other 2 hearts hit! My 4th Royal of 2018.Two more draws go by and no luck. I play some 2 cent and a little CS on Deuces for 1 1/2 hours on a 20 bucks. Another promo bust I leave up $1015. Nine and a half hours of play, Net for the day + $315.Good luck Chasing the Royal!Current temp 32Edited to add: I placed this post here as I still consider myself a recreational player. I am still a working stiff 40 hours a week and play on my days off and mornings. Just hitting promos when I can. Today wife and I heading out for some play. Just a relaxing play day.
