Re: The Path
FAA, Good news on getting the royal. Maybe royals will start flowing for you again. Sometimes you get them close together. The quarter progessive was $1056 yesterday.

Net Day: +$290. 46 TCs. Progressive $1,030. Jackpot: Oceans $10 DDB 5-K, $2,500. Now this guy could burn money like the Andrettis burn rubber.

Wait, good but certainly not great news. I see that the Progressive remained not hit last night. I have gotten RFs three of the last four years. This one really hurt the bankroll and morale. Even when I win, I lose. Nothing to do but somehow enjoy a rare big win.

Hey hey, congrats on your royal FAA. And at a CET property to boot!

Thank you. 2.5 year drought was about 1.5 years too long. As many predicted, I short coined my way out of a W2. I was still in the casino for a dinner, but I quickly lost my appetite. I would have had indigestion anyway. DB recently got a RF at a CET also, so it can happen.

The 94% lost potential winnings sucked all enthusiasm for my long envisioned sprint and swim, I'm afraid. I was left high and dry. Bitter, morose and depressed. It was a subdued celebration, to say the least. I think DB hit at Harrah's this spring, as Jeter had reported IIRC. My new mantras my be a cautionary tale. No luck with a buck. FYL with a buck. Any preference?

That is the problem with short coin. When you do hit a royal.......you feel like crap. Glad you made some money though.

My plan was to jump in the ocean and destroy my players card. But the elusive big hit somehow feels more attainable now. Delusion and confusion.

Let's hope that hitting that yellow brick road will be paved with real gold for the journey and you are able to keep the wizard at bay. Pluck out a brick at your own risk. The wizard (meaning the house) is near. That gold brick in your hand can be turned into pyrite with a flick of the wand. Remember, " you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." Best of luck and health FAA.....
