Lake Charles Trip

Just got back from our trip to Lake Charles Isle of Capri. From February on, the early part of the year was a disaster but that began to change in Vegas two weeks ago at Red Rock and Mesquite. So we decided to venture over to LC-IOC-we feel the need for VP. Wife was due to make some big hits since I hit big at RR.

First, she's dealt deuces/A on 25¢ DBDW for $1K.   I follow with 4 Aces-DDB; She then follows and hits RF 25¢ DDB. We break for dinner and I tell her with her karma she needs to play $VP. Besides we have already seen 5 RF for the night. 2 RF by the same guy playing triple play 50¢. We haven't seen this many RF on these machines in total over the past three months.

I'm playing 100 play 5¢ when a lady comes up and asks my name. I immediately knew, sure enough wife hit a RF on $DW. Five more quads on TDB during the night for her. I bounce between single hand machines and with numerous quads stay up.

Today, can't hit a thing on single hand machines so I move to 50 play 5¢. Four hours of multi-hand today and hit 6 RF on DW & BDW including three on one hand (4 RF dealt) with 21 RF/D followed two hands later by another RF. Funny DW/BDW play this trip more RF than 4D's, 8-10 hours of MH 5¢- 6 RF and only 2-4 deuces; even had one 4DwA holding only a deuce. Sure made for a wonderful get away.

Why do they do it! Say it ain't so Sam!   Man behind me last night hits the progressive DDB RF-beautiful hearts all in order. We all congratulate him!   Nice $1,500 ...oops he is only playing one credit. His friend hits the 4AWAK for the progressive $512... yep! playing only one credit!   Young girl next to me playing DW 1 hand/5 credits with over $100 in the machine. One hand at a time -dealt the 4 Deuces!

LC - Follow-up;
Had such good play two days ago we decided over supper to return to Lake Charles (2 hours away) to see if our luck was holding up. Didn't get to the casino until after 8:30 p.m. Before midnight and two AWAKS later on 50¢ single play and up double we called our spur of the moment trip a success. Love it when the hot streak is going.

Congratulations. Keep it going as long as you can. I had a winning streak last year of 9 trips in a row. You never know when good things will happen.
