Non Advantage Players Rant

Post by Casino Knight »

If everyone were an advantage player, would the game be worth playing?Have you ever had a group of advantage players kill your favorite game/games?Would the casinos continue their down grading of playable games were it not for advantage players?Would comps continue to evaporate with higher thresholds for AP players? When sitting next to a non AP player,  have you ever tried to correct their bad plays? And after doing so, been told to MYOB.  Then you watch them catch a Club Royal on a $1 game by holding the 10.  Did you start looking for a gun to blow your brains out?I may sound greedy but I appreciate the non AP players, and those who play for the "entertainment" of the game.  I especially love those who play the $1 Progressives at less than max coins.  The 4 coin peeps are my favorite because  that meter just keeps ticking away.I feel perceived "Snake Oil" salesmen, whoever they may be,  are doing a great service for AP players.  I love it when, with only 1 playable game on a Game King, that everyone is playing, and can't figure out why you're the only one winning.  "You must be really lucky" they say, but if you mention they should buy some software or read up on the game, they blow you off.Sorry for the ramblings but I'm in for the money, and believe that without non AP's we'd be left with nothing to play.Let the stoning begin.CK

I think when a player finally understands that VP can be beaten they get very excited and are anxious to tell others what they have learned. I was this way for a few months after I became an AP. However, it doesn't take too many times where the machines you want are all being played to understand that advertising great plays is not in your own interest.

I don't try to hide my knowledge in general, however, I tend not offer advice unless a person asks.

great thoughts--yes it is frustrating to keep winning why others are losing around you.

Don't worry, the world will never run out of idiots. At least not as long as my boyfriend is around. Try telling him not to "go big or go home." He goes home a lot. Alone.
